planning on doing a muffler delete monday. looking for people who have done the same and can tell me how the drone was or if there is something i can have them do to minimize the drone.
thanks

No muffler? Bet your neighbors really love you. Why? HP gain will be insignificant. Don

i asked a question and you come in here saying wow your neighbors must hate you, pretty much calling me an idiot for even thinking about it.. if you cant contribute to the conversation then stay out of it! you wanna talk about rude? maybe look at the comment you decided to type.

Drone was too much for me around 2000 rpm’s so I added Vibrant resonators to mine. Now I love it more than the sound of any aftermarket exhaust I’ve heard for the Stinger.

Thanks for the info! Did they just cut out the stock ones and weld new ones in? Or did they add them by the exhaust tips?

+ any sound clips/videos?

I bought the Tork muffler deletes. Drove for two weeks. Ended up buying Vibrant straight through resonators and having a friend weld them in. No sound clips although I can see about taking some today in between work.

You are going to have insane amounts of drone with a muffler delete. I would recommend going with the MBRP Exhaust (click HERE) and adding secondary downpipes to get the extra level of sound you are looking for.

ehh id rather not pay the extra money for the same sound, if the drone is too much i have two stock exhausts ill just swap it back!

the drone with muffler deletes and nothing else is bad. Very bad. Unbearably bad, honestly.

its really that bad with a just a muffler delete? i plan on leaving resonators.

The overall consensus is that the drone indeed is terrible. Even some cat back systems with a secondary cat delete have very noticeable drone. My borla with Quicksilver mids does indeed have drone but it's not as loud as a full muffler delete

Tried it when I first got my stinger. Lasted 2 days before I went back to stock.
