As you can see I have the OE factory ones & I think they look better, they don’t really show out but they are effective in minimising the potential of having stones & debris from hitting & “shot blasting” your paintwork.
As for mud I don’t do dirt roads in the Stinger so I cannot answer that part of your question.

As per @Stinger GT SS I have the OEM and find them discrete and effective. And I avoid mud!

I'm considering these OEM guards, after two years. :p I've applied touchup pen to a number of very small (sand blasted) marks on the exact area that these would cover. Before my paint gets any more damage, these should go on. I hate mud guards categorically. But, these are so "discrete" (good word) that I can probably live with them.

What is the best source for these, price-wise and rapid delivery? (heh, in this current situation, "rapid" will have to be relative:rolleyes: )

(edit: never mind, I just ordered the OEM from Amazon)

Thanks all for the pics and descriptions. I stay away from mud as well, just citing the name of the object. I get a lot of rain and muck that splashed up from the road and onto my lower ground effects below the doors. On a white car it looks awful.

I’m eager to try out the rokblokz mud guards, they seem a bit larger than the OEM ones. The site doesn’t really give the best angles.

Ordered the OEM ones! The rokblokz ones say they have “stainless mounting brackets” - extra brackets and parts = extra complexity (not that they’re hard to install). OEM is best.

Once I get them installed I’ll try and remember to post up some pics to see how well they do at repelling rain and road crap.

Whereabouts in Australia did you find them the Kia website doesn’t show them as being available?

I got the parts number for the set off eBay, went to my Spare Parts Dept & they ordered for me, then the Service Dept installed them.

I too am interested in purchasing mud flaps- splats, my dealer said they would look into it but never got back to me, which dealers did you guys get them from if in Sydney.

The Kia AU part number is KI-J5F46AC000 Description: Mud Guard Kit.
I bought them in Aug 2018 at Great Western Kia Kingswood Spare Parts Dept.

I got quoted $132 for the set delivered to Sydney from Alan Mance Motors Melbourne (StephenE@ammotors.com.au) was also cheaper than my local Kia Parts Store.

Mine were fitted 12 months ago when 10k service was completed, $145 Heartland Blacktown.

The oem blend in very well. I have a black gt2 and you hardly notice them. They do work and noticed a difference after they were installed. Plus 4 add ins near the tires means the care gained 40 HP right?

Hi all, adding some pics of the OEM mud flaps for those who may want to see how they look. I took pics from several different angles that I couldn’t find when researching how big or small they appear on the car.
