I have a stinger tribute and had a MBRP active catback installed. The drone between 2000-2500 in normal and sport mode, is quite annoying. I spoke to MBRP before the purchase and they said the catback already has resonators. I also was thinking of trying tips or getting a resonator. Could you let me know what resonators you purchased which stopped the drone and if you are using the same active catback as mine. Glad your issue is sortedSo i endedup getting them installed. They really did as they said they would. I mean every once in a while you'll hear a tiny bit of droning at a certain RPM (not sure what gear) but it's almost unnoticeable. Absolutely nothing like it sounded like without the resonators. 100% worth it.

i dont think u need additional resonators. try tips first.I have a stinger tribute and had a MBRP active catback installed. The drone between 2000-2500 in normal and sport mode, is quite annoying. Hi do you have the mbrp active cat back exhaust ?Been interested in the MBRP resonators for a little bit now. Keep us posted! I did the exhaust wrap and it helped quite a bit with the droning reverbing back into the cabin.
can u make some videos about how it sounds with mbrp resonators? So i endedup getting them installed. They really did as they said they would. Sorry for the delay. Yeah ill make a video in the next day or so and upload it once i docan u make some videos about how it sounds with mbrp resonators?
I have the ultimate performance HFC downpipe and mid pipe combo with the MBRP catback and the MBRP resonators.I have a stinger tribute and had a MBRP active catback installed. I dont have a clip. but with secondary downpipes, tips werent enough to minimize drone to me. i have tried Vibrant 1792 9 inch case length+ 4 inch case width and a 11.5 inch case length+ 3.5 inch case width. the 3.5 inch one sounds better to me.I’m trying to bring this thread back alive. I have the regular MBRP exhaust with tips on a 2019. Sounds amazing. I don’t think I have much drone. My question is, I plan on adding some secondary downpipes. Does anyone know or have a clip of how loud the exhaust will be now? I’m debating on if I need to purchase the MBRP resonators or are the tips enough for the drone?
So the 11.5inch case length + 3.5 sounded better ? So I’m assuming each case makes the sound different?I dont have a clip. but with secondary downpipes, tips werent enough to minimize drone to me. i have tried Vibrant 1792 9 inch case length+ 4 inch case width and a 11.5 inch case length+ 3.5 inch case width. the 3.5 inch one sounds better to me.
wider resonator is more effective tone down high rpm sound. whereas narrower one is more effective on lower rpm sound. So the 11.5inch case length + 3.5 sounded better ? So I’m assuming each case makes the sound different?
