Stinger Enthusiast
Ok, today I had my first major failure with the Stinger. 79k km on the dash.
I was in stop and go traffic, very slow. So the Auto Stop function was working over time but nothing unusual.
At one point, with te car (auto) stopped, I lifted the brake but instead of (auto) starting, the car gave a big message on the dash: “Auto stop deactivated, start manually.” and was also saying to shift the car in P to start it.
This has happened before, so you would normally just put it in P and press the start button and that’s it.
Well, today, it would NOT start. At all. Brake pedal was pressed. Tried many many times. Nothing.
I called road assistance and, 10 min later while I was waiting, I thought that maybe I should try again. Suddenly it started normally.
I’m supper stressed out this will happen again. Anyone ever experience this?
I’m scheduled on Tuesday at the dealer but I’m 100% sure no error was stored.
