Loyaly points might get me $750 1 yr later

Since 2010, I have owned 5 Kia vehicles. Before I bought my Stinger I contacted Kia to see if I had enough points for a discount. Turns out I had nothing accounted for so I had to send them copies of my bill of sales. With all the Covid crap going on I forgot all about it till the other day when I found the old email, so I enquired what the outcome was. Turns out I have 200k pts which is enough for $750 of my next vehicle. With a 2018 Soul and 2020 Stinger in the driveway, new vehicle is not happening any time soon. So I replied explaing this and if this could be elevated to some one to offer a goodwill on the purchase of my Stinger. They asked for the bill of sale so the dealer can do the paper work. Fingers crossed I may find a cheque for $750 in the mail box in the next couple of weeks.

So it looks like its going to happen. Just got a call from Kia Canada. They are just waiting on the dealership to file the paper work and the cheque will be on its way.

That's a pretty slick move! Hopefully it does arrive.

Took some time and back and forth emails, but the cheque finally arrived. Will help pay for some of the mods I did in the last few months.
