why don't you go through a body shop? I had my car repaired and they ordered all the parts needed and they came expeditiously.

That's a last resort. The good ones are busy here. I do as much as I can myself to save money. I bought it smashed from auction. It's going to be a challenge but it's all good.

I wasn't saying get the body shop to do the work, just order the parts for you, if you don't want to, or can't, go through a kia dealer. my experience was that the parts arrived in a matter of a few weeks when the body shop ordered them.

I hear what you are saying. They usually have 10 percent off MSRP. I have accounts with Toyota and Chrysler already just not Kia and the local dealer isn't the most helpful and they just changed hands so it's a mess. Trying to get 20 or 30 percent off and avoid shipping. Otherwise I'll probably just do a couple road trips for used.

oh, yeah, that's the one. well, consider your intro good enough for the 'before' pictures. updates when you get the parts and start working can go into a brand new 'project' thread. 'kia stinger talk' works. you could just put the 'before' pictures in there again.
