I have found 2 locally in Ceramic Silver/Red and both msrp at $54k.
Both have a/t. I am a Genesis owner and not familiar with Kia brand.
I am looking to see what others here have paid for their car with similar
msrp. One dealer is taking $3k off via his website, but I would think I
could do better than that. I've read posts here where buyers have saved
$5-$10K off msrp. Is this possible? I'm a cash buyer.

Thank you.Kia_red_int..webp

I bought a 2019 GT1 AWD Ceramic Silver for $44,900. They were asking $48,845. Was considering 2019 GT2 but didn't really want to spend more for the different leather, 360 camera, heads up display, extra seat positions, heated rear seats, remote trunk and shift by wire. I actually liked the GT1's shifter better when test driving because it can stay in manual mode after coming to a stop. 2019 GT1 now includes wireless charging, lane assist and heated/ventilated front seats.

Take a look at current Kia incentives online. Some may apply to you.

Good Luck!

I came across a dealer offering online a $6,500 discount on a 2019 AWD GT2, but hasn't got the color I want.
Working with them now and they are checking to see if they can find one (and maybe trade for it).
I'm basically just looking right now, until a great deal comes along.
Thanks for your input. BTW... did you get the red interior? That's what I'm looking for.

That sounds promising. I got the black interior. Red looked good in person too, the pictures made it seem too bright at first.

Yes its reasonable to get 6k off if you are buying cash, but dealers really don't care if you bu cash or finance they don't get more or less money if you buy cash or lease or finance in fact some of them want you to finance, then you can pay off cash after few weeks. I saw the red and black interior side by side I loved the red but after few weeks think I'm going to get tired of the red, the black interior looks classy and elegant, took the black leather interior with ceramic silver. Good luck finding yours, I also saw the Genesis G70 but I fell in love of the design of the Stinger.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Thanks GenesisG70... I had a '65 Corvette, RED with a RED interior (including seats, carpet, dash, door panels) and never got tired of it.
Not a huge fan of red cars, but that one I really enjoyed.
I know sometimes you get incentives to take a loan, which I would do, and then pay it off as soon as possible.
Who knows... I haven't actually seen the red interior in person, so may not like it as much as I think I will. Going to a dealer tomorrow that is supposed to have the one I'm looking for, so will know pretty soon. I test drove the G70 Sport last week, but they don't make them with a red interior.
I've got this 2016 Vette now... it's called the Spice Red pkg. Not actually red. Even has the same color leather dash.

But I don't recommend you actually going to the dealer until you have some negotiation done because trust me, you are going to leave that show room with the Stinger! Is that good mate! I love your Vette I had a Camaro SS it was awesome but gave me transmission problems. Good luck at the dealer.

My experience at a Kia dealership today...
The salesperson brought the car down from the 5 story enclosed garage.
It was the exact one I'm looking for. I told him to give me his best price,
as another dealer close-by has the same one in stock. He said he didn't
want to waste his time looking up my trade-in value and coming up with
a sale price, only to have me present it to the other dealer and have them
beat the price by a few hundred $$. He said to call him with the price I get
there, and he'll try to beat it. I told him okay, but he will not be hearing from
me if he's that lazy. I actually called the other dealership where I personally
know the finance mgr. and asked him to price the car for me. I don't even
have to go over there.... perfect. I already have seen/driven the car, and really
like the ceramic gray/red a lot. Waiting to hear back from him. They have this
car priced on their website with almost a $3k discount on a $54k msrp.
That won't cut it though. I would have to save a lot more than that to make
me decide to get rid of my mint condition G80 Sport. I doubt they'll come
down much more, and if they don't, it means I'll be paying around $10k plus
my '18 G80 Sport with under 4k miles, so that doesn't make sense to me.
If that's the case, I'll just keep it and enjoy it.

Wow! The first salesperson didn't even try. You were ready to do business and he let you walk out.

Time is on your side. Hopefully both dealers will follow up with a good price.

Even worse... my sister and I walked around the showroom for about 5 minutes looking at both a Stinger and a 900.
In that time, not one salesperson approached us. I had to go to the desk and ask for someone to help us.
What's wrong with these people? We both thought we would be swarmed by salespeople when we walked in the door.
On their website, they claim to be the largest Kia dealer in the country. I would never have guessed it.

If you are a cash buyer, you aren't going to get the best deal. Dealers don't like cash, no finance/lease kickbacks for them.

Lease it, then cut a check. Negotiate hard. If you've read about my deal, it's not-repeatable and cannot be used for a starting point.

There is a hungry young salesman wanting to cut a deal. Walk away from the dealers that pay no attention to you. I sold KIA's for years when I was younger (like 5 years ago) lol. I moved 65+ vehicles a month. The next sales guy was 20 cars.

I had envy, but I new how to work deals and treat people.

I just spoke with the internet sales mgr. at another dealer, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Their website is showing a white/black 2019 GT2 for $8,608 off msrp. ($54,015) which includes taking a loan for the min. 90 days.
Selling price: $45,407.
I have no problem with that. He set me up with an appointment for tomorrow with the sales mgr.
for 1). see what they are willing to offer on my 2018 G80 Sport, and 2). see if one of the local dealers
are willing to trade their white one (with same msrp) for the Ceramic/Red I'm interested in. Since both
cars are priced equally, I'm hoping this can be done. So those are the variables to making this deal work.
More after this meeting.

You must know there is ALWAYS the fine print that may sabotage the deal.
I will find out tomorrow if this fine print makes this deal too good to be true.

Edit: Just planning ahead with this question...
Does anyone know if I buy this car at a dealer which is farther from my house than
the nearest dealer, can I get my car serviced at the closer dealer without any hassles?
I know sometimes with Corvettes, a dealer can refuse to service your car for a warranty
repair unless you purchased it from them. It really makes no sense, as they still get paid
for the repair, whether I bought it from them or not.

I tried to pay cash yesterday for a 2018 that a dealer had sitting on the lot yesterday. Had gone by a month and a half ago to drive and look at the car. Hadn't moved since I'd looked at it. They quoted me a "best deal" price of about $52,000 or so. Which was basically MSRP (2018 black/red interior GT2 AWD) - they graciously didn't include their $3000 market adjustment. Once I finished laughing, I pointed out that it was a 2018 that had been sitting in the showroom since before I came by in late December.

Eventually settled on $44,000 before taxes etc. So wound up getting a moderately good deal. Unfortunately was over the barrel somewhat, as my previous car had died somewhat suddenly that day. I had known it was dying, just wasn't quite ready for it to die. Had hoped to take my significant other and test drive some cars next week - I had already driven this and a G70 several times. But had to move fast.

Could probably have badgered them down more, but at some point, it seemed to not be making progress. They wouldn't do that price cash, however. Required it to be financed. Seemingly in FL, there is a maximum of $75 fee for paying off within first six months. So guess I'll do that.

If I had not been able to badger them down to that price, would have worked with another dealer on a 2018 GT - seemed to be able to be had for ~34-35 in my area. Didn't have much interest in the 360 camera or wireless charing, so 2019 not particularly intriguing. Nor was the difference between the GT and GT1 worth it much to me.

The dealer I'm visiting tomorrow told me on the phone today that $75 fee is only if you pay it off before 90 days.
Something about them getting the approval for the loan or something adjusted.
At least that's what I was told. I'm also pondering a small loan along with my trade.
I think you receive $2k for taking out a loan from Kia, and he told me the minimum loan was $7,500.
Welcome to the forum. I've recently joined myself.

What state are you in? If your state has a good tax system for lease then one thing you can do/try is, lease and then buyout. Lease cash for 24 months is 7900, you pay like 950 extra in fees, if you can score extra 3k off (I was able to get 4k off in December) then you will end up saving 10k. You can buyout lease as soon as it shows up on KMF website.

I would actually prefer that kind of experience... Now if it's 15-20min, that's a problem.
