Problem:
Around 90-100 (3rd to 4th / 4th to 5th) I’m having a cutoff issue with the car going in limp mode. As far as the boost gauge on the app It shows 21.7psi max. Every now and then the car shoots this code (P0049). I’m not too knowledgeable with the car or the JB4. Any info is appreciated thanks!

Sounds like classic overboost. The EWG wires with appropriate settings can definitely help. I used my JB4 with the EWG wires and Terry's assistance, I got it pretty good but still ran into the occasional overboost condition, so I ended up getting an ECU from Lozic and it's been great. I still use the JB4 for logging, though.

Ok forsure I’ll get those EWG on order thank you!!

You got it, man. The JB4 is a useful tool, no matter if you end up getting a tuned ECU or whatever direction you go.

+1 add EWG and lower FF as needed.

2022 GT2
IMR intercooler with 3” piping
IMR catless primary downpipe
Aem intakes
Jb4 EWG wires
Stock BOV
93 octane

I pretty much have the same issue but seems worst to the point where I can only spirit drive in stock mode not even map 1 with JB4.
Got codes P0049, P49AA and PAAAA. No idea what to do help if you can.

Have you adjusted your settings in the JB4? Namely the FF.

I reckon you should adjust that down by increments of 5 to mitigate any overboost condition being set. @Terry@BMS would be able to help, as well.
I definitely try that and see what happens thanks.

Tried adjusting but same thing. Currently driving in comfort with no jb4 punched half throttle cut before 2nd gear. No lights or jb4 picked up nothing ‍♂️.
Most overboost conditions won't set a CEL. Did you only adjust the FF down 5? If so, Try adjusting down another 5, and 5 more until you get results.

I’ll try another 5 but if it’s not operating properly in stock mode and needs the jb4 to fix it, is right to say that between the intercooler merge pipes and catless dp it’s creating that much boost that the car would cut for safety? Am I along the right lines? Lol

Downpipes can definitely affect it. Intercooler maybe a bit but probably not too much? Either way, the factory programming is too conservative, in my opinion, and the car greatly benefits from a proper tune.

No problem. Glad you got it squared away.

Surprisingly after a few weeks I’m now still having the same issue.

If you have the DWP (default wastegate position) active, set it back to 0.
