I had the JB4 with EWG/Fuel wires, HKS Plugs, HSP CAI, ADDW1 BOV's, and Borla Cat-back exhaust all installed back at the end of October along with a few cosmetic mods. After the first initial stages, the car has run perfectly for me on Map2 running 93 daily. On one occasion I ran E30 on Map3 just to see the difference with no issues and then back to my normal Map2 daily. Went into the dealership for a routine oil change the other day and decided to fill up with some E85 on the way home. Made a rookie mistake and filled up about 3/4 tank with E85 and switched over to Map3 again, drove almost all the way home with no issues. Before I got home I did one WOT pull and it felt much faster than usual. It was a 20 roll and once I hit about 65 I went into limp mode, car lost power but no CEL codes. Was confused at first so I eased into another pull to see what would happen and the car didn't want to shift after about 4th gear then threw the CEL codes. Pulled over and ran the codes on the JB4 app and got P0171 and P0174 which are lean codes in both banks. So I turned the car off to reset Limp mode and turned the JB4 off just to play it safe. The E85 I got isn't the best quality so from what I believe, it would be running lean because the amount of E85 and the quality of it coming through my injectors is burning up too quickly. Ran my tank down a little and diluted the E85 with more 93 to even it out to what should be E30, then deleted my codes and did a couple of WOT pulls on Map2 with no issues or CEL codes coming back up. The next day I was driving normally and the same two CEL codes came up while coasting. I'm taking it to my trusted mechanic to have a couple of things checked out like my injectors, intake manifold, sensors, plugs, and hoses just to make sure those aren't the reason I'm running lean. I'm hoping after everything is checked if it's all good, I can dilute the E85 a little bit more and won't run into the CEL code issues. Just wanted to pick yall's minds about running lean on E85 and get your opinion on it being a different issue other than too much bad gas in the car. While driving the car normally I have no issues, just don't want to do any WOT pulls without being sure everything is safe to do so. Sorry for the long post lol but if you have any ideas on my current situation I would appreciate your input, thanks!

HPFP is crashing. Drive normal until you can fill up with 93, and you should be fine.

From what I’ve read (not experience yet), The only way of getting that close to e85 to run is CPI. Some intercoolers have a CPI port otherwise you have to drill into the charge port. Im not sure even then we can run full e85.

There should be nothing wrong with you car especially with hks plugs. Fill up with 91 or 93 and it’ll be fine.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
one time while filling up with E85 for E30 the pumps stopped working so i was stuck with a tank of just E85. Just had to baby it to the next gas station and watch my HPFP on the app incase it dropped too much. Another time i filled up with a little too much E85 and my HPFP crashed to 7 in a map4 hit. i usually average 15-16 mpg and i was around 12 just from cruising with the higher E%. Topping off with about 2 gallons of 93 the next day solved all the problems.

I just did the same damn thing, how do I clear the codes. Just filled it up from half a tank with 93 so it’s 50/50 now. 93/E85, is that still to
Much E85 to clear the codes

Have you found out how to clear the code? I accidentally put too much E85 in and had the same codes come up. I’ve filled back up almost to 100% 93 and the check engine light is still on. Wondering if the CEL goes away by itself or if I have to go to auto zone or something for them to clear it.
