I'm going to post some pics (starting with today) of places my Stinger has gone. Feel free to post yours (only unenforced rule: sitting in the car park/garage does not count ;) ).

Temple Bar, Lake Mead (NV/AZ)

Gorgeous. I am all for it. But this thread already has a lot of traction: started by the Aussies in their "down under" board, but hey, they opened it up for everyone. :D

I'm not in Australia, seems silly to have to navigate to a unrelated geographically specific section of the forum. Maybe the other thread needs to be moved into this section? This thread is not region specific, posted in an area that seems fitting that is also not region specific. Worse case, this is my personal "man loves car" thread.

I've posted to that "Aussie" thread many times. Arguably I've used it more than anybody else. :D You don't have to navigate to it; when a post is made the thread moves to the top of "New Posts"; that's how I saw it in the first place.

But if your thread isn't stillborn, I'll happily post to it instead. It's the pics we want, and the backstory of course. :D

A bit stingy with the pics, it seems. ;) I know the area a bit. You don't have to drive more than fifteen minutes to get backgrounds like that.
It's going to be a while until I do any serious road trips, couple projects at work won't be finished until May or later so only have the weekends. Thinking Zion is on order, since I haven't been there in forever (and not since we moved here late 2018).

From garage to parking along route 159 it's 20 minutes for us. It's why we live on the west side of Vegas (quick access to Red Rock). A friend told me the loop road can be a lot of fun in a car like a Stinger, dontcha know. :p

Still no major trips, but remembered to take a picture this time I went somewhere local. The smoke has (finally) rolled into Vegas.

Nice local trailhead near me in Pennsylvania. Needed some green in this thread to break up the deserts

I probably won't be visiting the oceans or mountains with the Stinger anytime soon [we use the SUV for longer trips], so here's another desert landscape. This is the parking area outside Arrow Canyon, Moapa NV. 65F and sunny. February in the desert southwest is a perfect time to explore areas that reach 100+F in the summer.

Went on my longest trip to date with the Stinger. Vegas to LA, visiting a friend and seeing a show. Came into town early to beat traffic and stopped at one of the largest sports card shops in the country in Burbank.

Burbank has more than one sports card shop? I didn't even know they existed.

Card collecting exploded during the pandemic (it was actually growing in 2018 and 2019, the pandemic pushing everyone indoors just added fuel). There a ton of shops and regular collecting shows across the country.

The Stinger really laps up the miles. Passing during certain stretches of the route was so easy (and safer), truly saved a ton of time.

I like my Panthera, but if I had a choice, I would have bought Micro Blue - what a great color, congrats!
