LED Headlights Efficiency

This may seem like a weird question but coming from an Acura TSX I always had battery issues. In northern markets you need a strong battery and the TSX has a unusually small one. So any time I did much of anything with my electrical stuff (play music or run fan or have the HID headlights on) I would always be confronted with a situation where I needed to boost my vehicle. Oh the humiliation I experienced because of that...

So the question is, are the LED lights in the Stinger so super efficient that lights could be left on for a while and it would still be fine?

Here are a couple scenarios:

• Leave headlights on for 15 minutes while I clear snow in the dark
• Accidentally leave cabin light on overnight

If you can find the bulb number for the headlights you can probably find the power draw online at the mfr website.

Most cars will kill all lights after a certain (often programmable) time period. My trunk, glovebox and overhead cabin lights all go out after several minutes in my G8 and GTO. I would expect a "smart" car like the Stinger to be the same.

I've not yet seen the specs on the battery. But IIRC it's the new AGM technology (Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) Battery Information - Battery University) and is head and shoulders above the old lead, acid batteries.

I only buy AGM now over the last few years. According to the literature it is worth the extra cost.
