Hello all!

I just got back from the shop and installed my HKS M45IL plugs along with an oil change to Synthetic 5w40. As I eagerly await my ECU, what are the best practices for driving my car in the meantime? Don't want the non-spec oil/plugs to damage the car or themselves before I receive my new ECU...

My thoughts:
Drive with higher RPM than usual (because the oil is thicker than the stock 5w30)
Don't accelerate like I normally do (because something something spark plugs)

But I really know nothing and would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

None of the things you installed are non-spec or have the potential to damage the car. They are only adjuncts to make best use of the ECU! Drive the car like you normally would!

Okay let us know!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Sourcing the E85 station around you right now and prepare for E30 mix religiously. No matter what lap3 told you, 93 is not enough for stage 1.5. Driving with -6 to -9deg timing pull means shit performance.
