Kia's claim: 0 - 60 MPH in 5.1 sec?

Looks like it could pull off 0 - 62 MPH in 4.8 sec in this South Korean test.

Kia has not made any 0-60 mph claims to date. Their 0-100 km/h estimates have changed over time. The pre-production target was 5.1 sec. Once vehicles were built and Kia began testing, the time moved to 4.9 sec. The Korean test is in alignment with what Kia measured. The more impressive part is they had three people in the car when they generated their numbers.

We will likely see 0-60 in the 4.6 - 4.8 sec range.

This car might be on it's way to cult status before local releases.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what this car will offer in terms of mid range acceleration. That 80 - 130 Kph overtake zone should be pretty flash is this twin turbo beastie.
