• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Does anyone know where I can get Silky Silver touch up paint for my 2019 Stinger GT? I have enquired from Kia and they don't stock it. the paint code is 4SS

If you’ve got a good smash repair shop in the area or one that you’ve used before, give them the paint code off the door panel and see if they’ll mix up a small batch for you. The US have paint pens from Kia but some on here say they don’t match properly anyway. Kia Australia don’t stock them. There may be a few places on the net. I got a small bottle of Micro Blue from my neighbour who’s a panel beater. It was to cover a small scratch when he rebadged my car

I just received a dr colorchip kit with silky silver (‘4 SS’ is the paint code) in it. My car hasn’t arrived yet though so don’t know how good a match it is...

They do just the paint on its own as well as the kits.

You are very organised having the touch up paint before the car.

I have the red and took it to one of my clients being Charlie Battisti and Co Melbourne’s most elite repairer of Porsche/BMW and Benz and their head painter got onto the computer to analyze the paint for the Hichroma and through up his hands and said forget it.... don’t ever bring it to us to ever repair or paint it....lol and he was deadly serious.
So I’m still without any touch up.

Got some Silky Silver touchup paint from SuperCheap. Mixed it on the spot and colour match perfect, $20.99

I got Silky Silver Touchup paint from Supercheap $20.99 colour matched perfectly. Could not believe all the different colours that went into it. So many drops of this and so many drops of that.

That is my car. It’s a photo taken by the inspection guy where I bought it in QLD. It arrived 2 days ago on the truck... and there it is.
Silky Silver, good going. :) Nice pic, too. Saved it.
