Kia Paint Protection

I had SunTek paint protection film added to the front end of my old Stinger. My replacement Stinger is coming with KIA's paint protection film on the top front of the hood and part of the front side panels but not on the bumper. Does anyone know how KIA's paint film compares to something like SunTek and do you think skipping the front bumper is OK? Thanks,

front bumper was where I got the majority of the rock chips on my first Stinger ('18 GT2 on a lease). When I traded and got my 2nd ('19 GT2 purchase) I immediately got an XPEL PPF on the front 1/4 of the car. It's self healing and has proven well worth the price. I'd skip KIA's option and go direct to XPEL. BTW, followed it up with a complete ceramic coat on the vehicle.

Mine came with the factory installed PPF on the areas you mention and it is holding great. However coverage is not comparable to a full front wrap. Quality however is pretty good, no yellowing and no pealing.
I've had my Stinger for roughly a year and half and it has 31k miles currently.

I have the basic KIA kit (which was already fitted) but believe the coverage should have been extended to the entire bumper. The only 2 small marks so far are in the lower unprotected area. I haven't had any adherence issues but I'm conscious of a "line" across the bonnet. Would I pay for the same again?....probably not. Would I pay for a full PPF front?.....most likely. Had the car 17 months and done nearly 17,000km.

No bumper protection?! That is daft. The bumper takes almost all of the hits.

Get full PPF back to the windshield. Anything less is "half measures."
