2023 KIA Stinger is coming to Canada

Many have been discussing the near-constant rumours about when Stinger production will end. It seems that the MY23 Stinger has been confirmed - for Canada, at least. So it might still be available for a little while yet in other markets as well.

No new features (hardly surprising) but two previously-available colours are no longer available.

Im thinking it will probably have the digital cluster dropped in, wireless carplay and google auto and maybe some very minor change to the front or rear fascia (doubt it)...either way, if the price is right, I wouldn't hesitate to bring in my '22. Just touched 7000 km's with a year of ownership in 1 month.

I think that everybody already knows that the Stinger is not cancelled for 2022. :D

After a touch up to the 2022’s- mostly on the GT-Line, I have my doubts that many changes are in store for the 2023 MY…especially true when considering this will VERY likely be it’s last year of production. Don’t get me wrong, I love what they did to the 2022 GT-Line- I would not have bought the 2021’s or priors and I’m not interested in the 3.3TT for my present needs. I’m averaging right about 29MPG right now with almost 2700 miles on the ODO while still having some sporadic fun. There’s not too many reasonably priced AWD options that are fun to drive like the Stinger

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'd have to get a good chunk of what I paid for my '22 to consider a '23. That's of course assuming the 23's bring something significant to the table.

Also, I believe IL still has that retarded tax credit law.... Or not. Looks like effective 1/1/2022 one receives full tax credit on the trade in value. Hope the fat@ss in springfield is not happy about this :D

My personal preference is not to have the digital gauges because the blind spot view monitor is displayed on the left or right sides of the digital display but is shown larger and in the middle of the conventional gauges.

Sorry, I can't understand that viewpoint unless it was due to cost. Big difference in performance between the 3.3 and the 4 cylinder. Don

The Stinger is my DD/work vehicle, I expect to drive 25-30k miles annually. 300hp/311ft-lbs of torque is still fun- more so with the JB4 install, yet I still enjoy almost 30mpg. The difference between the 2.5T vs 3.3TT is less significant than with the 2.0T, yet I still enjoy the mpg of the 2.0T. I see it as the best of both worlds. If I wanted a pure sports car and something less "utilitarian" I'd have ordered the new Corvette.

Well, good reasons for your decisions not that you need my approval (smiling) and with the JB4, you're likely making more power than a stock 3.3.

I just had a twin catch can setup installed by a dealer, took them 2 hrs with all the itty bitty parts. Service manager is a real car guy. He had a 1.6L turbo Kia that he modified to get 300HP at the rear wheels!!! That's 3.3HP/cubic inch!!

Speaking of C8 Corvettes, my across the street neighbor, nice guy has a 2022 C8 Vette. Nice ride but guess what? His business partner GAVE it to him, no strings, a major freebie. Lucky guy and I'm happy for him. Don

Jeez, somebody please give me a C8 ;0)

2.5T with a JB4 still won't take a stock 3.3TT, but 340+hp is still fun when you want to open things up a bit, tho it's primary mission as my work vehicle is still to get from point A to point B without taking a beating on the depreciation on a $70k vehicle. I would have loved to have gotten into an Audi S5 sport back, but it just didn't seem as practical, I sometimes call the Stinger my "Kaudi", as it was a compromise of sorts....yeah, poor me right ;)

Definitely true. I took delivery of a 2023 GT Elite last week. Got lucky as the dealership told me by the end of the year but in mid-May, a dealer-allocated unit that wasn't claimed arrived in town and they offered it to me. Very minor changes; mentioned them in my introduction thread from last week.

Dealer told me between 6 to 12 months. Long story short, went to the dealership this Monday and picking up my new 2023 3.3TT, Ghost Grey Friday at 8 Pm. Got so fcking lucky. W
