I wanted to start this off by saying that I have never interacted with any Kia dealerships before prior to my interest in the Stinger, and that I am fortunate enough to be in relative close proximity to two Kia Dealerships here.

I am not sure if it matters, but Kia Country according to Kia's website (diamond icon), has been certified as one of their "Kia Dealer of Excellence" as they have earned "one of the most prestigious honors a Kia dealshiper can receive" according to the Kia corporate website. This dealership is also authorized to sell and service the K900.

I first called this dealership about my interest in the Kia Stinger and the receptionist that I spoke to was surprisingly excited about the car as she also shared her interest. We talked for a minute about the car and eventually she forwarded me to one of the sales team who eventually received my information and promised to call me back when the dealership would have a Kia Stinger on site. I was not bothered by them once asking me for any other interests in other models, financial offers, or other nonsense. About a week ago, I did receive a call from them letting me know that they had a Stinger on site.

The weekend came and I decided to visit this dealership to view a Korean Spec 2.0T GT Trim to see how the car finally is in person. The premises for the dealership was a tad smaller than I imagined, but it was probably due to the location, and it could benefit by a renovation for expansion in the future. I didn't judge this however, and as I pulled in, I saw your typical line of salespeople waiting to contact a potential customer on a weekend. Within a minute of getting out of the car with my friend, I was greeted by a courteous salesperson, and I told him that I was here to personally checkout the Kia Stinger in their showroom as I received a call from them that they finally have one.

The sales rep gave me an overview of the car, and I did not ask in depth technical questions, as I already knew about the various potential trim levels of the car and features, which furthermore has not been officially confirmed for the US market. We actually had a pretty good conversation, as I asked about the inclusion of the car's UVO services, and when I checked out the hatch, he kindly helped me remove the hatch cover so that I could see how much space was open in the back. Eventually he left me and my friend alone with the car to view, and it was actually nice that the keys were in the car, so I could check out all of the electronics. More info about my experience concerning the Stinger can be linked to this post: Stinger K-Spec Before I left, my sales rep told me that he would send out a physical broschure to me once they were made available and official before leaving.

About a few days later, the sales manager personally contacted me via email about how I was treated by his team and the particular sales person who helped me, and to let me know if I had any other questions.

All in all, I had a very positive experience so far and will see how the true purchase experience will be in the future. A perk that I really liked that this dealership offered, was their "Owner's Edge" program that comes with every purchase: One-year Complimentary Oil & Filter Change, Dealer Installed Spare Tire, Brakes for Life (will be curious if they use BREMBOs!), Complimentary Concierge Shuttle, Emergency Roadside Assistance, Exclusive Owner’s Edge Only Event Invitations, Discounts and Sales, Lifetime Car Washes, Lifetime Loaner Cars, Loyalty Discount 10% off all service after 60K miles, New Owner Clinic, On Site Discount Ding/Scratch Repair, On Site Discounted Upholstery & Carpet Cleaning.

Thank you very much for this dealer review. Kia Country sounds like the kind of dealership I'd like to work with. The Owner's Edge program sounds great and I imagine Cadenza, K900, and now Stinger owners will be very pleased with it. Honestly, this place sounds like a Lexus dealership and I wonder if they actually own one in their dealer portfolio.

Thanks! Hopefully those who are interested in the Stinger in my area will be able to see this. I have also been to the Lexus dealership which is about one or two blocks away, but they are not in the same ownership as this Kia. The Lexus dealership when I was checking out the NX200 was positive as well, but from my own experience, the customer service wasn't that much different than besides exterior image.
