Just want to get a thread started here for introductions between the Stinger owners in the Kentucky area. I am looking to arrange drives/meets/helping hands sessions between owners.

I am located in Louisville, and the proud owner of a Blue Stinger GT2 AWD. I had a White Stinger Premium RWD for a month before realizing I needed to buck up and go GT2.

If it was a white Premium, then yes, it was my trade. I ended up buying from Kia Store East, and for both, and I only use Brittany Woosley as my sales associate. She always takes care of me, and it's probably the reason I have bought 3 cars from her now!

We have the Blue Stinger GT2 AWD with black and gray interior. We had the 2.0 version for about 6 months and was disappointed in the performance so we upgraded to the GT2.

You must be the other Micro Blue I see on occasion in the area! I traded my White 2.0 for my blue GT2 AWD as well, haha.

I am in the process of putting together a meet/greet in early fall and will keep everyone in the loop.

Welcome to the Stinger Family! I hope to attend StingerFest and have purchased my tickets, but am not sure I will have a car to take up there! Waiting on KIA to decide the fate of Blue and her defects. If anything, I will be up there to promote the brand/car for KIA and the K8StingerStore group!

To answer your lowering question -- I had the Eibach Springs for a short period of time, no dealer or suspension shop would touch the car because the cost and how new it was, so a buddy and I installed them on a lift. The AWD makes the front a bear to install. Unfortunately, the quality of the drive dropped too much and I removed them. I should have pictures of my car on my Instagram if you're curious -- KYStingerGT.

If I keep the car, I will be trying Ark's new lowering springs, they're supposed to be a little less stiff and they have a version with an inch drop, and a more aggressive version with a 2-2.5inch drop. Looking forward to trying them out!

@kystingergt, hope everything turns out well for you. I'm going thru the repaint process right now and can tell you is a PITA. However, the shop is redoing g the entire car and so far it looks awesome. I am hoping to get it back by Friday, but who knows. I already paid as well, but dont knos ir I'll go as I am dealing with a death in the family and dont knos ir the wife will be in better spirits by then, but shooting to be there Friday night/Satuday morning or after noon.
