With medium to hard acceleration, especially in damp conditions my Stinger seems to feel very jittery. Seems like there's too much lateral & up/down play of the rear end, has a hard time gaining traction.

Granted there's a lot of power, but my question is how much "play" is normal with the rear end?

The Stinger's "play" in the rear is normal, but irritates some drivers. (Not Randy Pobst or the Original Venice Crew. ) The "playful" rear end of the Stinger is Albert Biermann's baby. And possibly it is one of the many economies built into the Stinger's incredible price point. But it does not affect the handling, only the feel. When I put in the Eibach aftermarket rear sway bar, it made the rear feel more "buttoned down"; a lot less "stepping out' in the rear; and the "float" is gone: one hop over bumps, or coming out of dips and then solid.

Does the stiffer aftermarket sway bar make the car handle better, vis-à-vis cornering faster? I don't think so. But if FEELS like it does; which makes me more confident, so I go faster through curves than before when the car did its floaty, stepping out "dance".

Randy simply adapts to the car he's driving and gets the most out of it. And he was impressed by the Stinger on the track. No mention at all of "floaty" or "stepping out" in the rear. But then, he's The Rocket. How many drivers on here would claim to be that good?:P

Glad to know the wild rear end is normal trait, however, such a contrast to an otherwise extremely well planted & balanced handling dynamics.
Doesn't really bother me because I'm the type of driver who only does 1/10ths 99% of the time
