Price after a few days negotiation over the phone $34500+tax only....they gave me a price and financing numbers OVER THE PHONE...you can never get a dealer to do that. I flew there from California, Alen Garibovic picked me and my girlfriend up at the airport promptly at 9am ,took us to the dealership for a test drive, verified everything to my liking including removing their dealer stickers and a wash. Now This is where is expected the bullshit to begin....got into the office with the finance manager Amie Isome and she layed out all the paperwork with the numbers and.....they were exactly what I asked for and agreed to over the phone....being shocked it took me a minute to process but i siged, happily. I was in and out of the dealership in well under an hour with excellent service, 0 harassment or pressure to buy extras and just the type of experience you never expect to get from any dealership be it Benz or Kia.

5 freaking stars all the way.

Fly there, buy your car, drive home...it's worth it.

Thank you Alen and Amie

Sanjay.

That's quite a story! I am disappointed that you are not another Stinger along the Wasatch Front, after all. *sniff*:( But your happy experience cheers me up a lot. :)

Have you had any issues with vibration when braking? I'm not very pleased with their service. I purchased a 18 stinger GT 2, and I'm having regrets at 15,500 miles. I would greatly appreciate any feed back. I'm new to this so I apologize if this is redundant or not in the correct forum or format.

I have, I drive hard and had issues witin 5k miles....realized the pads are garbage leaving deposits on the rotor once driven hard. I threw some stoptech pads on there from a Mitsubishi lancer evolution.....it's an easy fix that can be done in under an hour for like $60 to $80. If I could do it again I'd use powerstop pads instead.

Had the infamous hatch rattle...fixed that with washers and a pad in 20 mins.

I'm happy despite these minor issues. I just hope they do a better job next time around with the rattles....so many rattles from headliner and doors it would take a long ass time to track down....had I paid over 40k for the car..I'd be pissed...but because I got it for so cheap...I'm cool with it ( and most of the time I'm blasting those Harman kardons anyhow) I don't ever go to the dealer for anything...they would have just replaced the pads or rotors and not fixed the issue.

Learn to maintain your cars yourself people. It's worth it.

Hi, and welcome, @slcbuzzed stinger. I have not had a single issue of any sort with my GT1 at nearly 22K miles and over 15 months. Jerry Seiner South Jordan has treated me well and their establishment is upper grade. James, the service manager (I believe) is very professional. I did have one complication or flaw that he came outside to look at on my car: a missing "drain plug" off the bottom of my battery box. He suggested that I get body work done to restore the flat surface around the hole of the missing plug, then he could order the part for me and install it. His assessment was laconic yet attentive. I'm still in "honeymoon phase" with Jerry Seiner.

Now, if I had a recurring problem like brakes shuddering (this is a hot topic on the forum you'll find), and they tossed their hands in the air after putting in new pads and turning the rotors, I'd be disappointed, both in the car and the service people. I guess that the "honeymoon" would be over. But would I expect any different? The car has very good brakes! But a few (or not so few, depending on who you talk to) have shuddering brakes issues; almost entirely from the front brakes (I believe one or two forum members have spoken about rear brakes also shuddering).

That said, if aftermarket pads and rotors fix the problem, you're good to go. If not, then it would start to look like you are one of the unlucky Stinger owners with a "cursed car". Don't borrow trouble, is one of my mottos. Just take the problem as-is and apply the most likely fix: which is different spec pads than OEM. Start over with resurfaced or new rotors, bed in the pads and go from there. Good luck!

(Whereabouts in the Valley are you? How long have you had your Stinger? What color should I look for? :D)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Oh also wanted to clarify that I'm in Cali, not Utah...so Jerry seiner service department was not an option ..if it was I might have given them a chance to fix the brake issue since I'm a big fan of that dealership thus far.

I purchased my GT2 from Jerry Seiner Salt Lake, it was largely a good experience, there were a few things I didn't like.

The salesman I got the first day I went in, Jeff, was kind of an ass. He openly laughed at me when I told him what I would like my monthly payment to be, not very professional IMO. He also insisted that I didn't need to drive the car since I had driven one once before. Even with a brand new car I wouldn't agree to purchase before driving it, but especially with a used one as this one was. He didn't even let me look at it first. I left and came back the next day and worked with someone different.

My next issue was that my plates didn't show up before the temp tags expired, I've never had that happen to me before, ever. Again, I got Jeff on the phone and he just told me basically "oh that sucks, if you get pulled over we'll pay the ticket". Um, how about you start with an apology? And no, I don't consider it acceptable that I get pulled over because of something like this and then have to take your word for it that you guys will pay for it, sorry but I've had enough bad experiences with dealers to know that you don't trust them at their word alone.

Overall like I said, it was a good experience. I liked my second salesman Alen and the sales manager Ryan was very helpful and didn't try to push me into anything. I don't know if it's because I'm a younger guy or if he treats all his customers this way but Jeff needs to work on it regardless because he rubbed me the wrong way on more than one occasion.

I had the same thing happen with my plates turned out they filed them under the wrong letter. Sales process was Ok there nothing I would write home about. Love the car though no issues that were not driver err Haha. Will be upgrading the exhaust and sway bars once spring hits with some new lighter wheels.

Lighter wheels sounds like a good investment because holy hell are the wheels heavy.
