Are the seats the only thing that is leather in 2020 gt1? Steering wheel?

Thank You

yes, steering wheel and 'leather trim' on the seats. I've read that 'trim' means the main seat and back. everything is fake 'leather', dash, headrests, center console cover, door panels and armrests. the leather seats and steering wheel have remained on all trims from my18 to the present.

Basically anything that you are likely to touch on a regular basis. Steering wheel, shift knob, and seating surfaces (just the parts that come into contact when you sit on the seat).

The window sticker on my 2020 GT-Line says "Leather Trim" on the seats. I've suspicious that there is any real leather on the seats. The car never had a "leather smell" and I bought it new. I think the central part (see photo attached) with the holes is synthetic as it must resist the heat from the seat heater. On the outer parts I feel the grain tooks too uniform. Now I notice this wrinkle on the rarely used passenger seat. This gives me hope this is real leather. Any leather experts out there? In any case, I've been using Saddle Soap for the past 5 years and it hasn't hurt it.

From the getgo, the Stinger promo book said "leather trim" on all Stingers. But the side bolsters are not part of it. I have a small area of damage in the driver side outer bolster and it is obvious that the hole is not in leather. I put a drop of silicone glue on it to keep it from getting snagged and getting worse.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
most modern leather is clear coated anyway. i have some good Leatherique products i used on late-80's Porsches, but would be a waste on the Stinger.

i just use 303 Leather spray ... cleans, conditions, and protects from UV.

If the center and sides aren't leather, what is? That thin strip that is face-on in the photo? I just watched a video. Real leather feels warm if you keep your finger on it. Synthetic will feel cool ... out to the garage!

A leather pro explains:

I tried to feel the leather as the video suggested and couldn't tell. So I tried to get Google AI to tell me something about the seats and I only get these two tid-bits:

The Stinger is primarily assembled at Kia's Sohari Plant in South Korea, with some production also in Russia and Kazakhstan.

Hyundai Transys is a prominent automotive parts manufacturer within the Hyundai Motor Group, specializing in both transmissions and seating systems. While they produce seats for various Hyundai and Kia models, they do not directly produce the complete seat units specifically for the Kia Stinger.
