I have a GT2 with Tork intakes and @Rakker snorkels. Considering replacing my FMIC as I'm looking at the Tork Stage 2 tune.

I'm looking for a factory direct replacement. Not interested in removing the crash bar or making any crazy modifications in order to get it to fit. The Wagner appears to block the radiator and I heard that it requires the crash bar to removed in order to install and it look like it blocks the radiator. Price is not the most important factor, however I would like to keep in it under $1k

I've see a number of positive reviews for Ultimate Performance. @Tonkabob said he had to MacGyver the pre-production version, which was almost 2 yrs ago. For anyone who has this, is it now a direct replacement with no mods necessary?

What are you using, and was the install relatively easy without the need for any mods? In other words, did the FMIC come with everything needed to install and replace the OEM FMIC? Where did you find the best price?

I am still on my stock intercooler but when I upgrade I will probably go with the BMS. Looks very easy to install. Price is good and it looks well made.

Mishimoto is awesome but very pricy and I don’t see any reason to replace the stock piping.

Removing the crash bar requires removing 4 bolts and a couple of nuts that are sitting right in front of you. I wouldn't make that a dealbreaker for a FMIC but I'm a little biased since I went with Wagner. For your case I'd probably suggest either BMS or Ultimate Performance. Can't go wrong with either imo. CX is cheap for a reason, I will never buy another Agency Power product again, didn't even know Injen made an intercooler for this car, and while JT/Mishi are both very good their installs seem far beyond what you're looking for.

+1 thread. Considering either the BMS or Agency Power Intercooler.

Charge pipe has minimal results more so density and size of the core/surface area.

BMS is behind crash bar. AP is in front of crash bar.

BMS is more trusted for me as a stinger owner long term.

AP is considered low end quality wise across the modding community. Sorry AP, just what I read. Won't say I believe it until I try it but thats what amazon reviews are for.

@community LET US KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS!

Where the Agency power Intercoolers that bad quality wise ? just curious I know there intakes fit miserably for the price.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Reading through the comments in the AP intercooler install instructions listed in the khartunerz website the fit seems to be off

Appreciate the feedback. I think I’m going with UP. I’m going to be purchasing it from @Tonkabob
