trlauto.com the makers of the auto stop eliminator is looking for someone in Fairmont, West Virginia to loan them their car for 8 hours and they will pay you $300.00 so they can use the car to make the Autostop eliminator. You can wait there for the 8 hours. Just tell them Danny sent you. You can contact jessica@trlauto.com

a 1k resistor will do it for whatever they cost ... 2 cents?

My home assembled DIY timer module + relays keeps the functionality, but changes the default setting to "disabled" at every start.

Been working great for months

Bunch of pics and video here.

We need a module that disables the FCW along with this. If priced right, I may consider that.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
My "very expensive" solution :)
I did this for a while myself, but long term I'm uncomfortable with creating a short to disable it so I've gotten in the habit of pushing the button each time I get in.

Mine just stopped working all of a sudden.

same here with a piece of black ziptie, but then i pulled the console and used a 1k ohm resistor to jumper the pins on the connector. easy ... the hard part was finding a 1k resistor in my rat's nest of loose resistors :D

It sucks not having Radio Shack around for these types of things. I had to order resistors off of eBay instead.

What are the error codes? Or what dash lights are on?

Better question, you actually WANT it to work?

seriously. i miss the old Radio Shark ... towards the end they were all just all RC cars and cell phones ...

I used to work at the local Radio Shack back in a different lifetime. A geek's heaven store. It was in a somewhat affluent community so I didn't feel too bad about the overpriced electronics (tv's, stereo's, cd players, etc.) prices. The store was kind of dead most of the time. There was an ice cream shop next door so folks would often come in to browse.

I have vague memories of closing up. Part of the nightly routine was to perform a system backup. What was used for that? TAPES!!!!!!!!!

In that similar lifetime, also worked for compusa. More exciting. Got to play the maytag repairman except for computers.

I kinda miss it too. They were good, don't get me wrong, but we had another local store here that sold EVERYTHING when it came to components--I mean EVERYTHING. Radio shack was missing some key ones I needed for an electronics course. They went out business a long time ago....

The Incredible Universe/Fry's used to be okay as well and sold some good components. but I think they're dead, too.

Yep. Fry's is dead, at least here in California.

Same in Oregon and Washington.
What country / climate are you in?
Is it getting cold where you drive?
Mine as well, and it has been getting colder here.

Is there a link to what logic the AutoStop/go uses? I can't remember it in the manual.
