I've been thinking of buying the Stinger for a long time, and my dream was the ghost grey (Canada) but yeah right.

I knew of the Stinger for I think a good year before I knew what it looked like!
I joked about buying it one day.

People say it's a great value, but it's not a cheap car regardless! I never made a huge amount of money so it sucks.

The tides have turned! I got a better job, I saved up, and now that the 18s are being cleared.

Bad news though. No ghost greys in Ontario :( They're all gone..
I'm so sad..

f*ck IT! I'M GETTING THIS GHOST GREY STINGER!

I called everywhere in Quebec until I found one, and I BOUGHT IT CASH!
I PICK IT UP IN JUST OVER A WEEK!

I can't wait! I can't freaking sleep! I just want to drive it home like NOW!

2018 Stinger Limited in Ghost Grey baby! Here I come!

Good for you, welcome

Can't see why someone would disagree, though?

Hi there. Try and drive with less excitement than you feel. Go forward with due consideration. Until your engine break in period is up. Then punch it! :D

True, I can't wait to drive it home, but I know that pedal will be begging me to press it down.
Why can't good things be good?

I've got an 8 hour drive where I need to be responsible in a new fast dream car.

Life's hard :(

No engine break in period. Punch it as hard as you want from the get go with several WOT if you want. This has several benefits including help seating the rings to the ring lands.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

You can get plenty of fun out of it between 2K and 4K RPMs, the break in range. Eight hours of passing lane adventures: knowing that it has even far more to give, later … :P That will be most or even all of your break in period. Isn't eight hours going to be c. 500 miles?

Now, why would you toss the manual like that. Oh wise one? :P

Because they are broken in at the factory and you dont need to. We all know the lawyers get the last say on the manual anyways.

It's BREAK-IN not GRANNY-IN. Get on it.

I'm not understanding something here: if the engine is broken in at the factory, how does abusing the recommendations of the manual benefit the engine, exactly?

Because the manual is kind of like the king James version of the bible. The lawyers are king James. Do your own research on breaking in high performance motors.

Well, lawyers drive Stingers too. I'll stick by the manual. Thanks. :D

Congrats, and enjoy the ride.

I think you're right Tinter. Not saying I won't succumb to the temptation here, and there (8 hours is a long time to be tempted), but I'm definitely going to be resisting the urge hard as much as possible.

Also. Holy crap. Every day, I realize the Stinger is becoming more of a reality than the last. Its surreal!
