2 pack paint is always the best but if you want to do yourself just grab some gloss black VHT wheel paint or a high quality gloss acrylic spray pack. To prep before paint, light scuff/sand with a Green (320-400grit) or green (600 grit) scotch brite pad, be careful not to break thru the paint. If you do you will need some adhesive promoter to prime the raw plastic. But if you don’t you can just spray over the original paint. Once sanded blow off with air and then wipe clean with prep wash. To paint First a light cat coat followed by 2 thicker gloss coats. Bake in the sun and that’s it dude!Has anyone tried to paint the caps? I'm getting the stock rims powder coated gloss black but the powder coating company does not paint plastic.
Curious if anyone has tried and if so what paint has worked best.

Up to you, but speaking from experience VHT is the best and as I said apart from 2 pack will be the closest you get to powder coat durability. So VHT would be better than Krylon? I ask because its about 6x the price. I assume the heat resistance aspect of it is handy when the wheels heat up?
It seems to be better suited to metal than plastic?
