Only talk about "cutting" the tailgate in the video, but never "how" , the wall is VERY VERY thick, i tried drilling it, CAN NOT penetrate even with a drill so idk what "cut" means

I lost the video for the cutting parts, sorry.
use a small drill bit first to find your cutting area. you are possibly getting too close the edge. the thickness is about 4mm .I used a dremel with circular cutting bits. Good luck
