I have created a guide on how to install these skid plates on 2018-20 Kia Stinger. Definitely a worthwhile investment if you live in a place with less than spectacular roads, Especially since our cars have a polymer transmission pan.

The guide is here:

If you're looking to acquire a set of these plates you can email Christopher at skidplateguy@gmail.com, tell him RogueIV sent you.

are there cutouts/trapdoors for oil drain plug and oil filter access?

No, that would defeat the purpose of the plate as large access holes would be a weak point. Regardless, it's easy to remove for service, you only have to take the 2 front M6 bolts out and then loosen but don't remove the 4 bigger bolts then slide the plate forward and off, the holes are slotted for this reason. It's a 2-5min affair.

I do, however, recommend getting stainless hardware. The hardware I was supplied started rusting, I've since replaced it all with stainless variants aside from the insert nuts that I just coated.

thats kind of a fail. an access cover would make oil changes a lot easier. its a sport sedan, not an offroad rock crawler ... an access with cover would be perfectly fine and still offer protection.

it literally takes 2 mins to remove, it's a non issue. and you dont' have to work in a tiny hole that you'll likely get oil all over.

Does he make one for the front portion? I lost the front piece on the track.. Wouldn't mind replacing with something solid.

I'm not sure you'd have to ask him. I'll caution to about making that part solid though. It could cause worse damage is it was metal as opposed to something flexible.

How so? I didn't lose it due to impact, just because a couple of the clips had come loose, and the wind caused the front to bend and scrape. I was thinking with some good fasteners, it wouldn't come loose due to wind anymore.

+1 been looking for the same thing. Wind took mines out and been wanting for someone to make a good replacement at a fair price.
