Might wanna check out your local body shops friend.

Got a preliminary quote from one, it includes remove, install and calibration for few sensors, camera and front bumper. Totals up to be 1322 and might go more.

Sorry, but that's ridiculous. It's a bumper, which means a scratch is expected.

If I were you, I'd touch it up with touch up paint. Then I'd use my DA polisher on the whole area to smooth out the appearance. Then I'd wax it or apply a ceramic coating.

The quote seems in line with what I was quoted to paint the front and rear bumper of my car , I scraped my lower right front avoiding a dog , the location of the damage was right on the lip of the fascia thus easy to mask off and fix ( sand , filler , sand, prime , paint then clear coat . I purchased the OEM paint from Automotive touch up . Perfect match ! Your damage requires blending the paint which is more difficult ..............have you tried those mobile touch up guys ?? Search in your locale and get them to quote . A body shop will remove the bumper and repair it ..............and PPF would not have saved you on this , that scrape is right through the paint into the plastic ...........good luck and keep us posted

I just got my bumper redone from someone backing into me. Barely two marks and was quoted around $900 that the other insurance paid for.

I'm just saying, this is money you'll never get back. Thus, my view is to make it look decent, but it is a bumper. It won't be long until you have another scratch, ding, cent, etc....

have you thought about putting your license plate over it , get a tow hook plate holder and adjust it to cover that spot

About what I'd expect. The cost is not from the raw material cost, but the labor required to do it properly. It's probably somewhere in the park of 10-15 hours of labor.

No front license plate in NC.

Thank you guys. This is my friend's car, she already has front plate on the car.

The person who bumped in to the car is taking the responsibility to pay. So she is looking for a job that's well done but also don't want the other person to get overcharged.

Eesh! That is ludicrous. But if somebody's insurance is going to cover it, as if it had never happened, I would say thank you very much!

Otherwise, what @MisterMac said.
