Exactly as the title states - MY19 came with 3 months of XM radio and after it ran out I never looked back. It was nice on mornings that I didn't have a playlist picked out, but I was most commonly using CarPlay and Spotify to get my music so no point in paying for it. Damn sure better than the FM or AM radio either way (no commercials). XM keeps offering "amazing sale prices" to resubscribe. Curious about their adoption rate among Stinger buyers.

I use it when I'm not in the mood to fish through songs or whatever on my phone. There's no reason to pay full price to renew it if you talk to them.

I spent probably 10 minutes total using it during the free subscription period. Didn't find the audio quality or the selection of music compelling, even when there was no cost to use it. It's long since lapsed, but not without a lengthy bombardment campaign from Sirius via phone calls and mailings to re-subscribe. Fortunately they seem to have got the message, though I still get the occasional mail offer.

About the only thing I might find interesting is the XM data service, to extend the geographic coverage for doppler radar weather maps beyond my immediate city locale (where I get them via HD radio broadcast). Interesting, but not worth the cost of a data subscription.

We've had a subscription in every car we've had for years. No commercials, no annoying "local radio personalities", a variety for everyone and the ability to find new fresh music in the genres we enjoy is why we keep renewing. Also nice to set a channel on long road trips and not have to fish for different stations as you go in and out of coverage for terrestrial. Grain of salt, we're a very musically driven family, and even with the SXM subs we still also have pandora/goog/spotify/itunes/ipods that give us unending variety. Mileage varies, but to us it's worth the cost.

I have mine...I can always call up and get 6 months for $30. When the six months is up, I just rinse and repeat. I think that is a good deal.

Mine expires in less than a week, still debating whether to subscribe or not.

I have cancelled my subscription. I grew tired of them reminding me between every song that I'm listening to Alt Nation on Sirius XM. And listening to the gravelly-voiced Nina Blackwood on the 80's station pretending to do a weekly countdown every hour was annoying. Worst of all was the atrocious audio quality that couldn't even activate the subwoofer or tweeters. I just use the money I would have spent on Sirius XM on Apple Music for the entire family and we've all got access to millions of songs, radio stations, podcasts, etc. All at much better audio quality and without reminding me that I'm subscribing to Apple Music. Can't wait for the new and improved Car Play and iOS 13 coming this fall.

Exactly my thoughts and what I went through with them. I had to finally answer the phone and tell them to stop calling me and yet they still tried to sell me on it.
Audio quality is yuck, selection is abysmal. I have 3000 songs on my iPad that I have hooked up to the car. It was an immediate no for me

I only ever listen to Sirius/XM when it's on the free promo...because it's free. The sound quality is garbage, I won't pay money for that. Even my bluetooth connection with Spotify is ENORMOUSLY better than S/XM.

This may be trivial to a lot of you. I keep the subscription so I can have live traffic on the built in Navi. Until we have wireless CarPlay, or the Nav section of the home screen can be Google Maps I'll keep it.

It's also nice to listen to music with sub par quality that constantly cuts out due to a weak signal.

I just found out I've had XM radio on my vehicles for the last 7 years. Never paid regular sub rates. Always $30/6 months. They tell you your renewal date so I just put it in my calendar, call the day before and say I want to cancel. Then they come back with offering the discounted rate and I accept. $60/yr seems like a bargain. That being said, I also have Napster subscription plus my USB that has about 3000 songs. I can't remember the last time I listened to FM much less AM radio.

I don't listen to radio or satellite, so "hell no". I wish I didn't have to see whatever the "default" channel banner is on the info screen every time I connect my phone (for Waze, phone, and messaging). in 10 months I've probably listened to music thru BT two or three times, and it was probably to avoid making conversation with an irritating passenger. The voices in my head are usually enough to occupy my thoughts..

I'm pretty much in that camp as well. I like having options available when I want them, but the majority of the time I drive without music playing.

Some people seem to need a continuous soundtrack to their life, with an enormous library of music on call at all times - not something I've ever felt a need for ... :p

Now days i listen to audio books, so rarely music in my Harmon Kardon(sp?) speakers.. I guess i failed themz.

I pay for it in my wife's car and subscribe to the streaming service under that account. I use Android auto for sxm or Google play. Already mentioned before audio sucks on satellite radio, but I only use it for talk radio and sports.

I listen to news and Howard Stern on Sirius and music on Android Auto.

No option in the poll for both.

I still listen because I am still connected without renewal. If renewal was $10 a year I might but I already pay for phone so I just bluetooth I heart, spotify thru phone

Don't see USB stick on choices in survey, that's my choice. Somehow those rascals got my cell phone number and were calling incessantly until they hit me at a bad time and I unloaded on them. Still get email in my spam folder though. Tried it once, didn't like it. I also downloaded my Spotify play lists in an old cell phone and use that, if I want my spotify list, but those are mostly for home and I have my play list for driving on my USB. Tangerine Dream is great for driving... and a few sing alongs, "Country Roads, take me home..."

Never been happy with the quality of Sirius through the built it audio unit until I started bluetooth streaming or Carplay. Much more fidelity to the point where it’s enjoyable. So I cancelled satellite and stream only. Great value too as it’s one sub that works across all my cars, rentals, friends cars, etc.

Never engaged the free trial feature even a single time. Went with my USB sourced music from the getgo. Occasionally I'll listen to the local classic music station on FM. So I voted FM. A poll choice for USB would have received my vote.
