How hard is it to sell OEM rims?

Hey all - I’ve got a 21’ GT1 AWD and really want to swap out my rims when the weather gets better. I live in Michigan (Lansing).

How hard is it to sell OEM rims? I’ve never done it and wondering if there’s any tips you guys have.

One rim has some curb rash on it () but other three are perfect condition. How much do OEM rims typically sell for?

Cheap=easy to sell. Expensive = hard to sell.

As easy or difficult as it is to sell anything else on the used market. If you price low it'll sell quick. Price too high will take longer. Right price is somewhere in between.

Sold a monitor on ebay the other day listed as LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!!!!!

Buyer is in 5 states away. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping but he was willing to pay. So now it's on its way. It's a huge 30" monitor.

List on FB, craigslist, here, etc. Local pickup is always easier.

Either way, take good pictures, disclose any defects, be clear on wheel specs (size, bore diameter, hole pattern, offset).

I sold someone my stock exhaust and gave him the wheels/tires for free just to make room in my shed.

Last I saw of the buyer he tried for months to resell the exhaust and wheels here and had no luck.

Not much of a market for used Stinger wheels. Might be able to sell them for a couple hundred dollars on the Forte/Optima/Soul forum.

A brand new OEM GT wheel cost $630 back in 2018. But I don't know anyone buying OEM wheels brand new; can't think of a single instance.

If we had better roads around here I'd go to a 19" staggered setup. OTOH, i'm going to enjoy rotating square tires along with better tread life.

A few years back my gf damaged an OEM rim on her Soul. Dealer wanted $800 for 1 rim. I found a new set on Kijiji for $400 for 4. Picked them up and then resold the other 3 for $350

The country flags are part of the Forum SW, not up to the user. It is based on IP address. Perhaps the IP address he has for his service is mistaken by the SW, or could be fooled if he is using a VPN .
