How are Loden badges holding up?

so I just got in my Vintage K front and rear emblem. They look very nice but I have a couple of concerns.
1. There is no acrylic clear over the emblem design. Does this hold up?
2. The “K” is stuck on with tape and squirms around if you push on it since the tape has some flex. Has this been holding up.

Otherwise a very nice piece with some heft.

I had them on my Optima and decided to never use them again. They lasted maybe 6 months and then looked horrible. Not sure if they are any better now.

edit: The emblems described here are actually not a Loden product.

You can get some of this stuff and pour the mix over the top. I did it with the E badge I bought. The swirls on the badge are reflections of stuff in my garage.:) Came out great!

Very rare to hear somebody with a Vintage K on their Optima. Where did you buy it?

There's a 3 year warranty on the emblems you purchased. The "K" will stay attached unless somebody intentionally pulls it off...

Really? They're actually really common on the Optima forums. I first installed them on a Optima in 2012 and it lasted until I traded the car in. Installed another set on a Optima in 2016 that didn't fair so well. Found out I got a bad batch and was sent replacements for free.

Both orders were from K5optima Store (same owner as the K8stinger store).

My friend, K5 Optima/K8 Optima does not sell "vintage k" designs. They do not sell Loden products. You are referring to the KLexus/Kia 3.0 design. They're made by a different company...

I bought an Exos E logo but the package never arrived :(, so, I bought another logo here in México, I told to them about how I wanted the design of my logo. I hope to replace my oval KIA logo until return to Monterrey, maybe in a twice weeks.
