Home screen on infotainment system

Can you configure the home screen to show different info? It seems the default has navigation displayed on the left hand side. Curious if you can pick climate control to show on the left hand side. I have seen a couple of YouTube drive reviews and I can see climate on the left and radio on the right in a split screen configuration. I can’t find any info in the manual that indicates that you can customize the home screen displayed content.

Hmmm, never figured a way to do so if possible. Would be great if that's an available option.

side question while members tell us how it can be done.
is there anyway to use the GPS navigation while driving or you can only search an address by the voice control ?

Basic functions like zoom, rotate and route details can be used. I do think the car must be in Park for the destinations to use the touch screen

I don't believe this is customizable. I think the climate display replaces the map when the nav SD card is removed.

What black magic trickery is this? Climate instead of map? Also see dash, to the right of drive mode there’s a new icon looks like “A” with arrow through it. Stinger Jailbreak?

I wonder if you dont put the SD card in it would trigger the map to be moved out of there

I saw this to. I am glad you posted so everyone could see I wasn't making this up. I took the same screenshot last week and just didn't get around to posting it. I am definitely scratching my head on this one.

I am able to get the climate on the left when the NAV SD card is not inserted. I don’t believe there is a setting for this, just a backup default to not have a blank square if the NAV is not working.

I'm not sure which icon you may be seeing on the dash? I watched through the video (maybe I missed it), maybe you can get a clear screen grab of it? Only thing I ever see next to the drive move is he Fuel Pump symbol, and the the Race Flag when he is scrolling through the menus.

Bonsai you’re correct. That is the checkered flag, my eyes wanted to see a hack so I was seeing something else. Mind playing tricks and wishful thinking I guess.
