You should be fine if no tune.

3.3l V6 here. I replaced my spark plugs at 42,000 miles and they were still in very good condition. I am not going to replace them again for another 60,000 miles.

As said previously Kia told me the spark plug change is at 70k km service. Not sure what that is in miles.

Did anyone notice an improvement in fuel consumption after replacing spark plugs with the OEM replacement? I'm almost due for them, and I plan to replace them and take off the intake manifold to make life easier even though I saw the method to do it without removing. It will give me a chance to look inside the valves to see if there is a lot of carbon build up or not.

You shouldn't. If new ones made a noticeable difference in mpg, you're changing the plugs way too late.

You can still upgrade your plugs to the HKS Spark Plugs without a tune. Very much still worth it.
