Apparently my bad experience with my sunroof is the gift that keeps on giving (Bad - KIA of Yuma TRASHED my Stinger)
In an effort to figure out why my headliner and B pillar are noisy, I discovered that not only where 2 of the 4 foam pieces free loose on my headliner, but I am also missing at least 2 of the black clips in front that hold it in place (I have not even checked if missing any from the side or rear)

Can someone help me find this part number
I have looked through the diagrams on the Kia parts sites and there is no mention of these clips, the only clips it lists (853993k500) is not the right part at all
Here is a pic of a back of the headliner with the clips in question circled:

here is some pictures I took of just the clips

For reference here is a pic of the 853993k500 clip that kia parts sites list (clearly not the right clip):

As a side note, I did figure out what was up with the B pillar trim.
Looks like Kia or that glass shop forced the B pillar out the wrong way, scraping the plastic mount tabs (part of the pillar, not removable). So I added some mounting tape and then wraped it with a couple layers of regular tape in order to add some thickness to it so it wont move as much.

Thanks, got some ordered.

Yeah. This was a half hour of searching. Looking through the service manual. Studying the sunroof. Not that. Searching the roof lining. Finding out the exact name of the clip. Going to Kia Online Parts. Searching that clip. Coming up with the "fish" of multiple clips. Locating the clip and diagram number. Cross referencing the part number. Searching the part number on "images" Confirming it was the clip This is the sort of stuff people need to do when they are looking for a part.

You did the easy part

You ordered it........

Thank you for your efforts, its appreciated.

I actually found that clip in my searching ... but whichever kia parts site I was at did not say Stinger. It listed Sportage and several others, but no Stinger; so I had assumed that wasn't the right one.

When I went to order it, the pages the dealership had to look at where completely different and took him right to it.

They sure don't make it easy to find parts.

Thanks again.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I agree it is hard to find parts. If you have the service manual the link is here thats a good start. It is searchable on the Internet under Stinger Servcie Manual (Kstinger is the official link) Covers all parts all Stingers.

The Kia Online Parts Link is less helpful

Use this Chadstone Kia Dealer Melbourne Online Parts Link in future which takes you to the same Kia Online Parts but simply works better.

Set the Stinger, Model and Year. For YOU, always pick Stinger GT. There are no other variants of GT here. Hit the magnifying glass at top of page and put the part name in the box. Dont put the Rego in thats just for Australia. Link marked Kia Australia below
