This is the fourth time this code has appeared. Only mods if you want to call them that are drop in dry Aem panel filters. Long story short first time the code appeared I took it out to my performance shop on (4/8/22) and they cleared the codes but couldn’t find exactly what was going on and recommended to take to dealer which I did. First time at the dealer was at king Kia in Gaithersburg (4/29/22) and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it since the code cleared itself already. Cool so I decided to set up an appointment at Koons of kia in woodbridge va where I purchased the vehicle from and they stated the “internal short causing check engine light “ so they replaced the throttle body (5/12/23). Everything is fine up until yesterday. I’m at Kia of owning mills yesterday here in md getting an oil change. When I leave and I’m about ten minutes from home the SAME STORY CONTINUES OF auto hold light pops up, check engine light, and traction and stability light on the dash. Car is idling weird so I pull over. Shut it down for ten minutes and the car starts back up fine but check engine light remains on. I shoot over to advanced auto to see what the code is and it is the same code of P061B. Have another appointment set up with Koons kia of Woodbridge this Friday (5/27/22) . Anybody have any insights as to why this code keeps popping up? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I've seen a few threads where this code has come up, and the cause has been something around the intakes. So it may not be a co-incidence that you've installed aftermarket filters and are getting the code:

Double check everything in the intake assembly to make sure there are no leaks etc.

Even simple aftermarket drop in panel dry filters ? And thanks for these threads. Definitely learning taking a thing or two from them.
