Hello, I’ve had my Stinger GT1 for almost 2 years and I absolutely love this car!

I wash my car every week and even though the dealer did replace them once, I am yet again seeing this spotty tarnish on the exterior window trim. Any advice on how to get rid of it?

Hi there. Try signing up as a member and posting your message with what you need help with in the subject title. That'll draw people in who can assist you. I've moved this topic into our detailing section...

How to you wash it? I have heard that aggressive cleaning chemicals (typically found in automatic car washes)
Cleaner waxes, and light metal polishes will clean it up again, but a good ceramic coating or wrapping it will prevent it from returning.

This is gonna sound stupid, but MR clean magic eraser and some dawn dish soap has been recorded somewhere here on the forum to work wonders for the summer season.

I would be extremely careful, if not hesitant to use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It is abrasive, and the paint is real close. At least try a small spot first.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
