Headers?

Well hang on...where would you fit a BIG rear mount turbo at the back of the engine on one of these?
I guess I just don't see the need for a single mega turbo here. I always understood remote turbos as a way to add FI to cars that don't have room under the hood, but we have room plus all the infrastructure.

Our bottleneck is the tiny diameter in the manifold/housing, and once you solve that, I'm pretty sure you can fit twins bigger than other components can handle (fueling, head bolts, transmission).

I guess if somebody was gunning for 1000hp Supra/GTR builds they might need to relocate or go big single, but I'd just be happy with a swap that kept spool in the 2500 range with top end 600-650. That would run with the German TT 4.0s...
 
It was just a suggestion to lose some weight off the front but more importantly get all that heat out of the engine bay :whistle:
