Huh ??? Define "problem"

To be specific, while under braking or maneuvering at "higher" speeds, the rear of the car sometimes feels like it is floating or slightly stepping sideways. It can be unnerving if you're not expecting it.

Like other owners and reviewers have noted, when taking a curve at speed and hitting an imperfection in the road - even fairly small, I've experienced that the back end can get momentarily "jumpy", like the computer(s) can't decide whether to stabilize laterally or vertically. It's not severe, but it's out-of-character relative to the generally fine handling of the car.

Yes! Makes you think something in the suspension is broken or the wheels are coming off. I hope someone comes up with a fix soon.

I hadn't been happy with stability for some time and when Stinger was recently up on a hoist at Dealer (for an unrelated reason) I noticed what appeared to be a bolt lying on top of a trailing arm. Pointed it out to the service guy and it turned out it was an arm that attaches to a sensor box for suspension control. The retaining nut had worked it's way off. After it was put back in place I noticed a big difference in handling but I'm still not entirely satisfied.

I fitted Eibach front & rear sway bars at soft setting, this goes a long way in reducing/eliminating rear end tail wag.

Interesting find. I just checked mine and it's connected. But now I'm wonder if we change the length of that arm if we'll get a stiffer suspension. Anyone play around w/ that?

Gentlemen, that sensor is for the height sensor for the headlights. This has nothing to do with the rear suspension.

Really, service guy said suspension. I hadn't noticed any difference in headlights whilst it was off.

Correct. If the sensor is disconnected, or a fault is detected the headlights just default to their zero point (which probably was fine to drive with).

There isn't any suspension "sensors" like that, it's all determined my G load sensors, and various other computers.

Mmnnn, I'll have to change dealer!

You need to dig pretty hard into Kia’s documents to find that. Honest mistake on the dealers part. Probably an educated guess from prior service positions and other manufactures.

give your car an enema that will fix your rear end lol

I fart a lot so I don't usually have a blockage. Care to check my EGT?
