Have you been challenged?

Lol sounds like a major a**hole. Should have taught him a lesson.

Disagree, if all it takes is someone giving you a thumbs down, for you to want to drive dangerously, and "teach him a lesson" I would argue you are the a**hole.

dude. are you having a bad day? how do you take a harmless statement like the one you commented on and turn it into a potential confrontation? he didn't call you an a**hole but you more or less called him one.

sounds like a real dickhead. real cool car guy to criticize another guy's car. especially when it's a good one.
Agreed--another ego-tribe member who just happens to belong to a dodge tribe. To me, those are like devoted ball club fans who don't really enjoy the game, they just like feeling like they "belong"--a fake enthusiast in my book.

It's alright, his car can only go in a straight line.
And why race someone you can clearly smoke? He “should” know that, and you already do. Sheesh.

Yeah, I love all types of cars and would never give someone a "thumbs down" of disapproval. Car people should stick together and enjoy the beauty each car can offer. I'm going to a Cars and Coffee this weekend and plan on gushing over dozens of cars from different manufacturers. Will be interesting to see how people react to "the Kia" :p

Eh, I think that's just him.

I realized a number of years ago, one simple truth. It was well after having my license suspended for 6 months for points (thanks 1985 corvette).

As I grow older it is not my ability to drive fast that improves but rather my ability to resist the temptation to.

But it sure feels good knowing it is there if I need it.

I always think of this scene from Back to the Future... It's not worth it, but nice knowing you'd win.

Nope not a bad day. I have a 16 year old driver out on the roads and dumbass wanabee race car drivers on the road scare the crap out of me.
Teach him a lesson for a thumbs down? Grow up.

Exactly... it different people are attracted to different cars... If you own a Charger, you likely own a truck, and you are known as Billy-Joe Gunrack... nothing wrong with that, but probably not the friendliest of folk. I see a lot of that general type here in Oregon... I’m just saying it is what it is, so anyone owning a Charger, it’s not everyone, but many for sure.

I just got smoked by a a Tundra while waiting for the onramp light to turn green. Oh yeah...did I mention he was in the express lane already near Hwy speed about 3 lengths back as the light turned green for me? Boy, he sure must be proud :rofl::rofl:

I'm imagining his bragging to his buddies tonight--"smoked a punk ass Stinger like it was standing still" conveniently omitting that I actually was lol. Give enough of a lead and my wife's Prius will "smoke" a Veyron 0-60....So long as the Prius is at 57mph when the Bugatti launches :D

Depending on the year/trim the Challenger was that could have quickly gone wrong.

They have quite a few versions that put out north of 485 hp, stock.

Agreed... A Hellcat is no joke to be sure. If Kia's intention for the Stinger was outright power, they would've engineered it much differently.

Even below that they have a few versions with the 392 Hemi, making 485 HP, going 0-60 in 4.1, and clearing the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds.

They might be ugly, bloated, and antiquated but they sure can get up and go (for cheap, in a straight line).

I have to agree with @StingerGT68. It isn't what you have as much as how you take care of it. I had a few years raising a family and switching jobs when money was tight and the cars I wanted were out of reach. So I kept my little econobox washed and waxed and enjoyed what I had. Those guys and gals deserve respect for respecting their cars, not the wealthy slob who beats his car and pays others to fix, wash and detail it, and then disrespects it when the next model year comes out and dusts him.

You and your logic :p

I saw a Hellcat in the wild for the first time this weekend and totally geeked out for 4 minutes.

My wife has the patience of a saint. A saint. Lol

Smoked a Dodge Charger scat pack . Last night from dead stop at light know launch control straight sport mode no paddle shifters. Kia really was conservative in times car is much faster

I found that a lot of people are afraid to get smoked by a Kia.
