Does anyone know of any touch up paint that is good match for the OEM gloss black on the Stinger? Tried some gloss black I had laying around and wasn't a great match. It passes the 6 foot test but I have another spot to touch up and would like something better.

I thought gloss black is gloss black. How about "universal gloss black"? I use this one. Mainly for wheel touchup, but the piano black pieces get this too if needed (so far, thankfully, rarely and only the tiniest of nicks).

I will pick some of that up and give it a shot. Thanks!

I'm also looking for some - I got a rock chip on my hood "vents" and the plastic underneath is pure white. I'm curious to see how your experiment goes!

the plastic underneath is pure white.
Yeah, I discovered this over a year ago: Using the "six feet rule", I haven't seen anything to touch up since I went over my hood "vents" and dabbed a dozen or so very tiny white specks. Heh! Odd place to take rock chips, when the diffuser is exposed to any amount of "sandpapering" action from stuff whirling up in the backdraft constantly: yet I have not seen a single white nick poking through the piano black. I'm impressed, actually: and you would think that the front brake scoops would show some wear and tear long before now: but also there I have not seen any attrition down to the white plastic beneath the gloss black.

^^ Do you know which body panels on this car are plastic?

Black plastic are the bumper covers; the splitter is a matte black, unpainted piece; as are the brake vent inserts. White plastic, painted gloss piano black, are the brake scoops, faux hood and rear bumper vents, triangle pieces next to the side mirrors; B pillar plates and dividers between the rear passenger windows and the little fixed windows, and the diffuser. Did I miss anything?

Doors are still metal? My old camaro had plastic door skins. No worries of rust if chipped.

Metal door skins. Look at the construction along the edges.

Update: The generic Duplicolor black was a really good match.

The bottom piece of the mirror is what I was touching up, a rock took a chunk out of it.
Glad to hear you found a good match! Do you happen to have a pic for us to see?

Was a little hard to capture it in the garage but you can see it here. It was a pretty large chip, had to replace the turn signal as it was cracked from the rock. It was a super quick touch up, I didn't do any wet sanding, just a couple coats of black and a coat of clear.

Lol! I never noticed before that the bottom of the side mirrors are BLACK. I'm guessing the plastic is white? Add these to my list (above) of plastic parts :P).
