Just asking owners of these tires to give they’re opinions, likes and dislikes about this tire? How good was the tread life? Thanks Stinger Fam

Had these on my 2015 Mustang GT and these are currently on my wife's Corolla. Great tire but can flat spot if not driven for a couple days.

@RM7 runs these on auto x

I’m sorry Bro, what does that even
mean?
I pinged the forum user (RM7) that runs these tires so maybe he can give you some input. I know he's been running them for a bit on his stinger and in autocross (auto x)

I don't see these tires mentioned on the forum very often, perhaps not popular because of the brand or because there's objectively better offerings close to the same price range. When the local climate allows, sport/performance tires are most common for the Stinger. I've had a couple sets of all season General tires in the past and they performed very well and usually undercut the competition by as much as 20% which is a lot x4 tires. Mind you these were just econo cars nothing I was tossing around very hard. I wouldn't consider them even for all seasons on the Stinger today, I'd rather spend just a bit more to get a superior performing tire. What are the other options at discount tire? I usually cross reference the reviews on tirerack when deciding/comparing.

I do want to mention i do run General G-Max RS in the summer and they are very nice tires and they haven't ever left me wanting for more grip. I've also run their Altimax Arctic 12 in winter which are great in the ice and snow. The company makes quality tires. I just don't run all seasons so can't give you specific input on that model of tire.

Hard to say, they are in storage right now. When I did drive them, they seemed to be pretty good. Significantly better than stock, but mine were wider than stock too (255 vs 225). If you are going for same size as stock, differences are likely to not be as dramatic. When we got our first snow, I went out and drove them just to see what it was like. Yeah, I could probably "get by", but it would be needlessly dangerous and frustrating ,as compared to the winter 225s I had sitting around. So back to dry/normal wet conditions: Yeah, they were decent and definitely better than the stock re97s. I had those come on my BMW too and they sucked just as much. Almost anything is better IME. Definitely can't help you with tread life...except that decent handling is worth it over tread life IME.

I had these tires a couple years ago on my 2015 Mazda 6, which was a FWD car. They were great for the dry and rain. However they were only 'ok' for snow. You could get by on light snow only, and even then I'd only recommend flat surfaces. I live in a region with a lot of hills, and they weren't good tires for snow + hills.

I've thought about getting them when I'm done with my stock tires, but if I do then I'll also spring for separate winter wheels/tires as well.

I'm 99% certain that I've got these very tires on my GT1...thanks to a pothole. 1 tire for 300 or 4 for a little over 800 with a longer treadwear rating? Yes please. Overall very happy with them-I'd say they perform at 95% of the OEMs.

The generals are ok but you get what you pay for. They are noisy I recently switched to Toyo Proxxes AS they were a little bit more but not too much. They are definitely far superior got them on discount tire.com. I think for 4 I spent $830.150779FF-636E-4B4F-8C52-09FB7D92D2A5.webp

One set on the Stinger still great tread used on oem for winter wheels

I have these on my Optima Hybrid for over 3 years now, they are quite good on this car and have even performed well in snow. They do have a bit of road noise which can be expected of performance tires, but that does not detract from the performance. I am able to spin them if I apply enough acceleration when turning from a stop. The hybrid has @275 lb ft of torque, the wider tires on the Stinger should be fine with them. The tire I had last on my Stinger was the BFG g-force Comp-2 AS, which were really great performers. Seems they came out with a Plus version that no longer has a tire for the rear, unless you are running a non factory setup. The choices seem low these days for the stock tires on the GT2 on tirerack.

Depending on your use, I think those will be fine. They come in 4th overall on TR tests.
