so I'm planning on buying the logic tcu and ecu. I want my car to pop, bang, and explode with flames.

is there any good fully exhaust fully catless system? I've been told if I want to go with the flame tune that I would need to be fully catless but not 00% sure if something like that is out there or if I should take it to a shop and get the cats and all that jazz cut out

any help is appreciated.

Found a cool shop. might just cut out the cats and add some pipe to fill in the gap. has anyone else done this?

If you cut all the cats out you'll need to do something about the o2 sensors. Also note that the car will be noticable that its catless by smell alone. I'm not sure how the LEOs are by you but keep this in mind. Also keep in mind theres little performance gain in doing so, this will be more of an acoustical aesthetics choice.

what would you recommend?

i mainly need the car catless for the lozic flame tune. read that some dude messed up the seals on his turbo from not taking the cats out.

very helpful info tho

I hate to say this, suspect you know but I think taking the cats off is a violation of Federal law, so why do it? Don

I am not fully catless like the op wants but I don't have any secondary (primary) cats. Why? Because its my car, not the states. As soon as cali starts paying for my car then I will put the cats back on. Besides the primary cat doesn't even have o2 sensors. It doesn't stink without them. I would say the smog pollution is minimal and plus one of the shipping boats that we use to get all our goods pollutes more in one trip then my car could in an entire lifetime. Not saying that smog laws are unnecessary, I would love for all them coal rollers to get a couple tickets.

I don't want to blow up my turbos for having the cats while also having a lozic ECU that shoots flames out like a dragon.

Well, good luck with Newsome's Nazis. Don't you unfortunates who live under the oppressive rule of CA have smog checks?

CA, with great natural beauty ruined by leftists, socialists and uncontrolled illegal immigration. Devil made me say it.

Didn't even realize you were in Cali. My suggestion in that case is not doing any of this unless you like fighting fix tickets.

Ima do it :3 I’ll have a spare when the time comes to swap out my exhaust

Just need help on either cutting shit out or if anyone knows of an exhaust system with no cats

I think I could pay to get it “passed”

I know a guy that knows a guy

AFAIK not a full system (primary downpipes->muffler).

Aren't there a few catless primaries out on the market?

AFAIK? So all I would really need is just a catless primarie? Ill be honestly to say I’m not fully sure exactly what I need. I just know fully catless to not f*ck uo the turbo seals

AFAIK = as far as I know

I think the Lozic order sheet asked if you had primary and secondary cats removed? Not sure if it's just primary cats that need removal for them flames.

To "remove" the primary cats, you could theoretically* swap out only the stock primary downpipes with ones like from Nick's site khartunerz (below example URLs)

*Saying theoretically because you probably still have to unmount/uninstall the rest of the exhaust system...at that point, might as well also go catless secondary downpipes (also known as "midpipes" in the Stinger community), and catback exhaust

I really think it's the first set of cats that would cause the problem due to their proximity to the turbo and how hot they would get.

I know of a few guys running full catless, the only issue besides the o2 sensor codes is the risk of leaking oil through the turbo seals. The turbos were designed and engineered with a certain back pressure in mind. Going without that pressure causes some turbos to leak oil into the exhaust. However some people say that they can tune that out.
Personally I see little reason to go full catless as our cars wont shoot massive flames like a mustang or gtr will.

Hmm, very good thoughts. I will bring this up with the lozic team to get some feedback if full catless is the better move or if just downpipes would be fine.

Are people really still going on about back pressure in 2021? That oil seal thing seems highly improbable as I've stated in the past, there's been like 2 instances of that happening as far as I know.

Either way, personally I wouldn't remove any cats because I don't see it being worthwhile performance wise and I don't have the desire to melt the rear bumper on my daily driver.

I’ve heard a lot about back pressure on how it’s matters and doesn’t. Hard to tell which is facts.

I want my car to shoot flames! I just personally love and want it. Will most likely get primaries and a second exhaust system to chop up and then keep my stocks stored
