I wish I had ramps Jack's and all that. Yes just 3 or 4 plastic screws/bolts to fasten to the bottom lip of the front lower bumper. Easy peasy - if you can get underneath.
There's a kia dealership in Olympia, WA that sells this for us$200 plus shipping....
Taught me another lesson: everything on this car is not cheap to replace.
I hit a pothole in winter and got off lightly can$400 for 1 rim and tire.
So drive very carefully- don't take risks...unless you can afford it...I can't.

Recently heard the correct term for this front bumper event is: curb cresting

Yes, exactly that. Now I get it: @Silverghost is replacing his forward under panel. I did that last fall and they are indeed expensive.

Yes, I thought you wear referring to a different , more expensive, part than MerlintheMad was.
