I took some recent paint damage and scratches on my front bumper when some construction materials fell off a truck I was following on the highway. ugh. Nothing too noticeable unless you are a few feet away.

I'm in a 2019 gray GT and was wondering how a black or maybe a gray carbon fiber wrap might look on the full front bumper. I'm not so great at visualizing things like this...so wondering if anyone has done this or has seen something similar. I'm basically talking about the full front bumper, up to the lip of the hood (but not including the hood) and across to the diagonal cuts down across the middle of the headlights.

I looked several pages deep on this forum and didn't see anything like this posted anywhere...but apologies if it is covered further back somewhere.

Think it would look good...or just leave it, scars and all?

Be the trail blazer and go for it.

It sounds unique, but I think a CF pattern hood with it would make the bumper look more natural. I would definitely NOT leave the damage, and at the very least would get the bumper cover resprayed in the original color. (PPF would not have saved you in this situation, I'm guessing?)

I had the same issue with my GTS. the bottom front metallic chrome piece looked pretty rough. Also I wanted to get rid of all silver / chrome accents since day 1. So I wrapped them in carbon fiber.

That took long enough! Though very brief, that is an excellent first post. :D
