Hi,

New to the group. After much back and forth with prior dealerships, I went in hoping to get a ‘19 Micro Blue GT2, but walked out with the showroom floor ‘18 GT2 AWD in HiChroma Red for 42k flat...had approx 115 miles on her. No downpayment and financed with my own bank. For the Stinger being my first car purchase, and not previously having any “bells n whistles” I was very pleased with the deal.

Good buy. Welcome Teronda B.

"Flat" means Out The Door, right? That is a good price. I wonder if that car sat in the showroom all last year. :)

I too got a 2018 HiChroma Red GT2 AWD on June 1st on lease through Fredy Kia for around 42k and 10k on my trade-in that was valued at roughly $9,200. Overall the first-day experience was great, however, there were "issues with my paperwork" that nobody bothered to contact me for 30 days, even after I called them multiple times because the first payment was coming due and I still had no logon information nor was my trade in paid off yet. I ended up having to come back in and re-sign all the paperwork for what amounted to be a $12.38 amount difference over the 36-month lease. Overall, fantastic car, but I will not do business with this dealership again in the future since they don't have their ducks in a row and don't care to contact their customers when someone "fat fingered a document and it got rejected by Kia Motor Financing"

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I too, had to go back in and sign new lease forms. But I was informed of this after two weeks, and apologetically told that the lease form was filled out wrong. No problem: I went in and signed again and have two copies of the lease now. The difference between your experience and mine is that I didn't have to discover their screw up: they told me.

@Teronda B. congrats on your beautiful new car, Stinger is so much fun to drive. Lots of info here, welcome to the Hive and enjoy :)

Yeah that’s what it means. Probably did because they had to replace the battery and I had to air up the tires after I got home. My apologies for the late reply.

Yeah the dealership is sketchy as hell but I made it clear that I wouldn’t pay anything down nor finance with them. Besides them sending my plates, I’m only going back for oil changes. The other Kia dealership down the road is legit but they wouldn’t budge below 49k for the 19. That’s why I had to move on.
