Frame creaking

Hi there,
I’m sure I’ve seen a post on this somewhere before but can’t seem to locate it. Sorry about that.
Anyway, wonder if you can suggest a fix for my creaking Stinger. There appears to be a creaking sort of sound cooking from all window frames, seems to be worse first thing in the morning. I’m wondering if lubricating the door / window seals may help and if anyone else has had this issue and could perhaps suggest a fix. Cheers.

If it’s creaking it’s the door seals/rubbers.
I had creaking & purchased Shin Etsu rubber grease.
Problem solved.

No problem, this stuff is expensive but it’s an automotive rubber grease & worked great, I did it over a month ago now & no creaking.
I just applied it with my fingers, use it sparingly, a little goes a long way, you will get the idea as you go.

Agreed...works like a charm I apply it twice a year, spring and fall and no more creaking.

What about using this stuff? Herschell Silicone Paste Grease Tube 100g


I've used some WD40 Silicone spray on a rag then rubbed that on the seals - which helped previously. Due to do it again though I think.

I use, Gummi Pflege Stift , don't ask me to pronounce that. Same sh*t different bucket. Works too.

Hi,
An update on my creaky frame. When the car was in for the 40k service, they identified a creak coming from the sunroof. They are taking the car in for a week to fix the problem. I think I also have a creak on the driver’s side. It is especially noticeable first thing in the morning but can happen at other times too.
Will report back once they have completed the job.
