Been running the borla system now for about two weeks and the sound is fantastic in sport mode and good in comfort with a little bit of drone as expected. The tips I ordered will be here sometime in the next four or five weeks I expect from what I’ve been told and I’m wondering if anyone who has them can tell me what type of sound reduction in the cabin I can expect?

Read this thread. The whole thing. All of your questions about exhaust tips will be answered.
But more to your point, adding tips to the Borla system was a fantastic move. I almost gave up on the Borla after the install because it was such a departure from the church mouse quiet stock system. I had it installed just before a road trip and the engine RPM while cruising and when driving in comfort mode was just in that band that makes the system want to "drone" (I'd call it more of a reverb, but whatever). The tips fixed the over the top "drone" in that 1500-2500 RPM zone, which dramatically helped make the car more enjoyable for daily driving.
Cruising around town the reduction is quite a bit. But WOT still brings the noise. One thing I have noticed is tunnels/parking garages is MUCH louder now. Instead of the sound getting caught under the car and bouncing around, it shoots out the back and bounces around the tunnel/garage much more. The drone wasn't to bad for me and I didn't mind it. I got the exhaust tips more for looks.
One of the guys on a Stinger facebook group was telling me about his Borla. I have always contemplated getting one but the drone might be a put off. I have the Bimodal, he said the back seats is where the drone is more noticeable, he suggested if passengers are in the back to drive in Eco and when their not there drive in comfort or sport.
I took out the bimodal fuse to experiment one day, it leaves the acutors open and the exhaust remains loud, the drone was bad and caused vibration through the steering wheel and centre console. He advised the Borla isn't that bad, it doesn't cause anything inside to rattle.
No vibes for me.... drone is anything but sport as it sweeps from 1200-1500 to the shift on light throttle. At mid and heavy throttle it’s aggressive lol. Sport mode is great...really really great. But I’m not always in sport.
The vibrations were bad before I got the tips on. I had a dashcam installed and it had a rear facing camera also. There was a screw that was there to adjust the angle and you had to tighten it to hold in place. Well that eventually unbolted itself from the vibrations. It is now hold together with superglue haha. The exhaust tips have made the vibrations a lot less noticeable now. I almost exclusively drive in sport mode unless i'm highway cruising then it's usually eco or comfort. I just hate the laggy throttle response for city driving on anything but sport.
