Folding Mirrors Issue

I was looking for the wiring diagram, all I got so far was this ( which isn't very useful)
Too low resolution

Pretty sure the dealer will replace the switch under warranty....

Should be in a quick and easy fix with an even quicker and easier diagnostic.

8k to replace the mirror? Holy, that's a expensive. I hope my warranty still covers it. Glad yours was covered and they were able to replicate the issue.
Nah, 8k was starter motor, 1 headlight, and 1 folding mirror
The folding mirror was only $2,136.62

Damn, that's still pricy. lol
I'm hoping my dealership can do it the same day, cause it's like 40 minute drive for me, each way. Sucks.

$2000 for a new mirror?

As long as he didn't pay for it. They can rack up the price. haha
I'm bringing my car in to get it fixed under warranty with my front bumper sensor, that's been dead for a few months now. I'll see how much they would have charged if it came out of pocket.

Now that some cars are out of warranty, anyone who knows what's up with these mirrors? My passenger side mirror started to have some folding issues. It was working on and off. In the end it was replaced under warranty.

Now my driver side mirror started having problems (and I'm out of warranty). It would make some noise but not move. The turn signal stopped working as well.
I bought one second hand from Allegro (ebay in Poland) but it turns out this one is also not folding. At least the turn signal works.

After plugging it in it moved for like 1cm and got stuck. I cleaned the wiring and put it back. Then it unfolded correctly but got stuck there (thankfully). The annoying part is if you fold/unfold it manually it will not click into place properly. So a folding mechanism is destroying a ultra complex mirror that includes a camera, a heating system, a dimming system, a turn signal, a puddle light and BSM light. Of course they're 1K eur to buy.

Never mind, I went and disassembled the old one but got stuck at the 3 screws keeping the folding motor together. They seemed to be aluminium or something. Very brittle and completely stuck.

In any case, the only replaceable things of the whole mirror assembly are:
- the glass
- the cover
- the inside rim (surrounding the glass)
- the camera
- the turn signal

Every other component is connected either to the main wire harness and can't disconnected individually or it's fixed to the mirror "chassis" and can't be taken off without breaking it.
