I have a GT2 AWD with the basic carpeted OEM floor mats and wanting to swap them out.

What floor mats and trunk mats do you run? Why do you like them?

Or which ones do you have and why do you hate them.

I live in Utah so it’ll be a mix of sand, water, and snow, maybe a little mud from work.

I had upgraded to the diamond stiched mats but recently switched to Tuxmats and I love them. They are best mats to cover and protect your interior

Tux mats is the way to go. Love the complete coverage on the rear row. I had the OEM all weather rubber mats but tux mats are just better. Plus they don't look as excessively flashy as the diamond stitch ones (no offense) I just want my floor mats to be floor mats. However the rear cargo trunk mat I use is the OEM all weather one. Why? It has stinger on it lol.

Another vote for Tuxmat

Easiest to clean + most coverage.

My car was the actual car they used to scan to make the AWD version of their Gen 2 mats (I got a free set of Gen 2 mats as a result).

Inside TuxMat - Scarborough, Ontario.

My carpet mats have been bagged up ever since I got the OEM mats and cargo liner. And "Stinger" on both is a nice touch. I like them because they do the job without any notice whatsoever. They're mats, after all: why should attention be drawn to them? They're not pricey and look/feel like they'll outlast the car.

I ordered these from the dealer. Gives the interior a little pop of color

Appreciate the feedback. I think I’m going to try the tux mats and then a stock trunk mat.

If anyone lives near Toronto (east) / Oshawa
I have an entire Stinger AWD set of tuxmats (Gen1) - which I have replaced with tuxmats (gen 2). - subtle differences.

They currently just occupy space in my garage. I would part with them very easily for about $50CAD

I went with the oem all weather mats like Merlinmad. But mostly because they can be found cheap (and at the time I found them really cheap). I think the Tux look nice and by all accounts [members who have posted their personal praise] hold up well. Utah weather isn't generally terrible, so they'll be fine.

When living back East, the weathertechs were the gold standard along with other brands that made mats that came up the side a bit. Out West this is less of an issue, mostly sand and very occasional mud.

Anyone have diamond stitch with red leather interior pics?

Those are awesome! I've been looking online and can't find them anywhere. Do you have a part # from your receipt?

What is the difference(s) between Gen 1 an Gen 2?

When did the gen 2 tuxmats come out? Got mine last august, not sure gen1/gen2.

Gen 2 use the OEM mounting hooks on the drivers side.

Gen 2 have a slightly larger rubber heel pad for driver feet.

Gen 2 are slightly more grey vs Gen 1 being slightly more black.

I will post a pic(s) later

Just received my Tuxmats and I gotta say they're really nice! They include clips/tabs to help anchor them in place but honestly they fit so well I don't think I'll need them. Obviously I'll hold on to the clips just in case if they start moving around after they settle in.

Main reason I chose the Tuxmats is because I wanted floor mats that helped keep the carpet and foot wells clean or easy to clean, but didn't look like they belong in an SUV or crossover.

I found the clips pretty helpful. The mats move when heavy people put weight on them. Clips help keep the corners from coming up and letting dirt get under them.

Tuxmats are the best floormats available, in my opinion. Literally the only downside is the necessary use (in my opinion) of the clips, but once they are in place and they've basically formed in proper shape they are locked in pretty good. They leave very little exposed carpet, and it is nothing directly exposed, just under the very front of the front seats which never sees true exposure to anything that would damage it.

I have the tuxmats too. They provide just about full coverage (99%). The only hassle is cleaning as that involves removing the mat, which with the clips is a bit of a pain. Rarely have back seat passengers so have yet to R&R the rear. That's a one piece so a bigger pita to remove/reinstall.
