Floor jack recommendations

That's a super cool tool, a bit pricey but it's made in USA so that's why it's not outsourced to China. I might pick it up.

Both can kill you if used improperly

I see numerous references to "jacking points" in various threads yet I see nothing in the owner's manual about that. All I am aware of are the reinforced pinch welds, two on each side of the car. Also see comments about using jack stands. Haven't seen any reference to that either.

I'm not new to car maintenance and don't want to lift other than at the pinch welds until I learn otherwise or, a service manager said I could lift the rear using a pad on the floor jack under the differential.

Any clarifications that can be provided would be appreciated. Don
